[Ashton's P.O.V.]

"We're here." I announce, shifting the car into park and unlocking the door. Calum is asleep in the seat beside me and I gently shake him.

"Calum." I whisper, shaking him once more. He bolts upright and snaps his head up at me.

"Huh, um, yeah, what?" His face relaxes and his body is less tense when he notices that it's just me. He asks, yawning loudly and stretching his arms high above his head.

"We're here." I wave my hand towards the tall, brick, building.

"Oh." He yawns again and steps out of the car.

"C'mon Michael." I demand, stepping out of the car and walking through the doors of our 2nd stop in this wild goose chase.

Calum beat me inside and is already conversing with the woman standing behind the desk at the front entrance.

"......Hemmings...." Is all I catch when I appear at Calum's side.

"I don't think a Luke Hemmings checked into this hotel...." She informs him, shaking her hand.

"How about check the goddamn records or whatever on your fucking computer?!? You don't know that he isn't here!" He screams at her, the veins in his neck clearly visible now.

"Oh, we're sorry sir... but we don't keep records here." She informs him, her face falling; she seemed a bit scared to admit that to Calum.

"You what?!? This is supposed to be a fucking 4 star hotel? But this, this place is a piece of crap!" He yells, his voice raspy now.

"We're sorry. But I don't remember any Luke.... Hurmings checking into here.... but his name sounds familiar.. Did I see him on TV or something?" She says.

"Yeah, well he's missing and you're not helping." He says, his voice still raspy, but soft.

"Oh, I'm sorry to hear. Do you have a picture of him or something?" Calum nods, and slides his phone out of his pocket and quickly unlocks it. He scrolls through his camera roll until he finds a picture of Luke. He waves it in front of her face and her eyes widen, for a split second.

"Oh, yes. I've seen him." She says slowly. "But not here. On the television." She adds. Calum shakes his head, disappointed. Shit. Now there's only two places left to visit, making our chances of finding him more slim.

"Oh, alright. Have a nice day." He turns around abruptly and gives a small wave to the clerk at the desk, and gestures his hands towards the door. I follow him out to the car, Michael following closely behind me. Wow, he was so quiet that I thought he stayed in the car.

"That's bullshit." Michael mutters as we're driving down the highway.

"Yeah I know." I agree. I tighten my grip on the wheel and Calum must've noticed my whole body tense.

"It's alright, Ashton." Calum says, loosely gripping my arm. I wiggle out of his grip and sigh.

"Not really." I spit. "And, besides, you're the one who flipped out back there."

"Yeah, whatever." He mumbles, crossing his arms over his chest and staring out the window. Geez, he's had an attitude lately.

The rest of the ride to the our third stop is quiet, and you could sense the tension from almost a mile away. I soon drive into an empty spot in the large parking lot of the hotel.
