It is your last day of grade 10, to summer vacation. You are hanging with your friends and your classmates before the summer, because some you won't see all summer til the next school year, or some are moving. Your last class of the day you have a dance, you are just hanging out with your friends, having fun, and dancing the time away.
"schools out for the summer!" you shout to the song. As the song finishes a slow song plays "what's this?" You ask.
"it's some slow song by Ed Sheeran. I don't know the name though" your friend lily says.
"Oh, I hate slow songs omg" you sigh. "Why because you didn't get asked to dance!" Lily mocks you.
"That's not why. they aren't..." lily interrupts "yeah y/n I see it in your eyes, you want to dance with someone!!"
"I do no...ugh maybe i do. I just wish he wasn't with her that's all!" you say as you sit in the corner. Lily joins you, "I know, we all do, but they won't last long. Now stop mopping around and let's dance, I'll be your partner haha." you join Lily to dance, just as someone walks over and taps on your shoulder. You gasp "huh, who are...oh hey Grayson"
"Hey y/n he says, i was trying to find you but I didn't see you all day" he explains.
"Oh yeah I was running around like crazy, but you found me!" You lily and Grayson chat fir a bit. By the way Grayson is your best guy friend, you have been friends since eighth grade as well as his twin brother Ethan, they don't really look alike though.
As the last song plays, you talk with everyone else, say your good byes and head out the door to the buses. "Thanks for a great year jake , cale, see you next year or sooner!"
"You too y/n"
You go to say bye to another one of your good friends Ally, and your old crush Caleb (he's now your good friend) walks over and sees you crying because ally is leaving for the summer. "Y/n it'll be okay. I'll be back soon?" He says
"I know I will just miss you ally" You sob.
"I'll miss you too. I'll call you every so often. By bestie!" "Bye ally" you hug and say your goodbyes.
"Y/n, thanks for a great year" Caleb says "you too Caleb, see you in the summer!"
"Yeah, but before we go can i tell you something?" Caleb asks.
"For sure, what is it" you wonder
"Well I....."
