Then this happened, three day's before school:

"Mom I'm bored," said Kim. "Why can't we get a computer?"

"Go outside Kim," said Mom, "Kevin will take you."

"no, I can't Mom," I said quickly," My friends and I are going to hang out."

" Well, take Kim with you. and Kayden and Kane, if you don't mind."

I did mind. I agreed anyway. We started walking toward where I usually meet my friends when I noticed something. A girl wearing a plan dark green shirt and jeans with holes in them was sitting under a tree. I could hardly see her because of the way she was curled up with a book. It made me wonder how much I walked by without noticing her. She had brown hair, except it wasn't just brown. It had natural red and blond and black that seemed to go through it. Her eyes, though it was hard to tell, were as dark green as her shirt.

"Who is that, do you think?" I asked Kane.

"How am I supposed to know?" replied Kane. "I never seen her before." I shook my head, and told Kane that it was a rhetorical question and moved on.

We met my friends were we usually meet, the park. While my siblings played we joked around like always.

"Kevin, I want to go home," Kayden said.

"Me too," said Kane coming over.

"Have Kim take you home." Kayden and Kane nodded and ran to Kim

"Well actually, maybe you should go home with them," said Jackson.

"What? Why?"

" We are going to do something that we don't think your mom would like, and we don't want you to get into trouble," Lucas said.

"What are you going to do?" I asked

"We'll tell you later, okay?" said Aidan

"Um, okay." I turned around to follow Kim, Kayden, and Kane.

"We'll see you tomorrow right?" asked Lucas.

"Yeah, of course." I said and left.

Instead of going home, however, I went back to were I saw the girl. She wasn't there anymore. Weird. I sighed and went home.
