In school, I can't decide whether I like Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays more than I like Tuesdays and Thursdays.

On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays I have band. It gave me time to hang out with my best friend, Ian. I've known him since I was three and he knows exactly how to make me laugh. I always look forward to seeing him.

However, I also have health on these days. I hate that class. We learn about stuff we don't need to know and I'm always confused. The way the teacher does notes is extremely confusing.

On Tuesdays and Thursdays I have gym and while I hate physical activity, there's a certain someone who comes to my gym class. He has a study hall during that period and he always comes to the gym instead of, you know, studying.

His name is Leonardo Hill a.k.a. Leo.

He's only a few inches taller than me and I'm 5'3", so he's pretty short for his age. He's a senior. I'm a sophomore. He has long, brown hair that reaches his shoulders. Most people think he looks like a girl, but I think it looks really great on him. It looks really soft and I find myself wanting to run my hands through it, no matter how weird that sounds. I've never been close enough to see his eye color or directly see his face, but I can see that he's very handsome.

You see, this crush of mine is a crush from afar. The Seniors at school don't exactly talk to sophomores. I'm pretty sure he doesn't know I exist.

Unlike me, he's very skinny and athletic. He plays soccer and basketball, while I sit in a chair and play the clarinet. We're like opposites. I barely know him, but, I find myself falling for him.

The only bad thing about Tuesdays and Thursdays is that I have chorus. I can't talk to Ian in chorus and all of the songs we sing are stupid.

Today is Tuesday, that means that I have to suffer in chorus, but I get to see him.

After chorus, I went to lunch. I had french toast with ham and hash browns.

After lunch, I had History, Algebra II, and Biology, in that order.

Finally, I got to my last class of the day, gym. I walked into the girl's locker room and changed into my uniform. A gray shirt with the school's logo on it and a pair of blue shorts.

Once I was ready, I walked into the gym and sat down in my assigned spot on the gym floor. I looked around, and there he was. Leo. He was wearing a gray Aeropostale sweat-shirt and jeans. His hair looked like it always did, long and soft. He was talking to a couple of juniors in my class.

After Mr. Stevens, our gym teacher, took attendance, we gathered around him in a circle. "Okay, today we are going to play kickball! Ninth grade, you're batting first. Tenth grade, you're in the field."

I followed my friends into the field in the back corner. My friends stand there because they don't play. I stand back there so I can catch any balls that come my way. I'm not very athletic, but that doesn't mean I won't play, plus, I can actually catch pretty well. In fact, I used to play at first base, but some guy got there before me once, and I haven't played there since.
