Once upon a time, a young poor lady sells flower at the church. Her name was "Miku". She was once the heir of a prestigious family and it was not yet a year since her family died on a massacre. She didn't receive any assistance from the government because some of the officials corrupted their family savings. She has no family left and the only one who helped her was their previous gardener. It treated her as a daughter of her own so she was okay on her but she is not rich as the family of Miku.

At first she was not used to that kind of living, she was often confused and acted as before but she was getting used to it little by little. Selling flowers are the only way to earn for their living.

As she was selling some rose flowers at the church early in the morning a group of high school girls bump on her. Their uniforms match one of the exclusive schools that she had once entered. The high classed high school girls were disgusted on her because she's nothing but a flower vendor. They pushed her and insulted her. Insulted and had no power to fight back, she just sat still and bowed down her head and ignored the hurtful words that the girls said.

A young man with a butler stopped the high school girls and helped her stand up. He told her that even if she's like that she must not forget the rights she had. He introduced himself as "Kaito DenFord" a son of a duke and beside him is "Sebastian" his butler. It was familiar to her, the DenFord family was once their acquaintance, and the duke was her father's chess partner. But she thought that maybe Duke DenFord forgot about her already. So she thanked Kaito and went home instead.

Kaito whispered something to his butler, something like "she looks familiar". Because of their curiosity they followed Miku.

That time, Miku supposed to go home but she changed her mind and stopped at the bay of the lake. She stared at the sea and remembered what her mom sings to her when she was alive. She sang it with all of her heart:

As I sing near my beloved one

I never cared if everyone else is gone

Stars are blinking up the sky

Those magnificent lights are the spy

I am here by your side always

And never will you cry in any ways

Try to smile for me

Because it will be the key ...

The prince heard her voice and remembered the song. He went to her side and Miku was surprised. He told her to come with him, at first she was hesitating but she felt something... she felt secured. The butler opened the carriage and drove them to Kaito's mansion.

She remembered her old days. Kaito lead her to the main room. There she saw the Duke with his wife, the Duchess. Kaito told her to sit down.

The Duke was also confused why his son brought a commoner to them. He told him to as her name first. The Duke asked her name and she answered "Miku Empire". He was shocked, so he asked her mother and father's name too. She answered again "Rin Empire and Lin Empire". He was once again shocked, he thought that the heir of the Empire family was also killed when it was found lost. She told him that she was never lost and the General was the one who took all their properties and wealth. He had a doubt and then went to the point that he knew who killed her parents...

The Duke told her that he will try his best to give back to Miku all that is really meant for her and she was really thankful. But he also said that she must stay in their residence first for security. She contacted the gardener and it agreed.

Mr. Len was a very good business man, with the help of her wife, Mrs. Rin. who is a very good singer and also his assistant on their business. Their company's brand is very well known all over the world. The "Empire Corporation", had associated on their products on food, sweets, toys, clothings, and also for building structures and have stocks on large companies too. They have a daughter, their only one child named 'Miku'. She is a very clever girl who loves to read book that's why her mother built a large library and expands it every year. Mrs. Rin always sings Miku a song that she composed and also Miku's lullaby when she was young. Miku got her mother's voice and hair, and she also got his father 's intelligence and his eyes.

Just like their normal days, Mr. Len on his personal office studying about their company, Mrs. Rin on the music room beside the personal office and playing piano, and Miku, reading books in the very edge of her room. She was really into the book until suddenly she heard gun shots down stairs. She stood up and then her door opened and her mom was there but signed her to sit down there and putted her point finger on her lips to tell her to be quiet. Her mother went out of her room and rushed to the personal office to warn her husband but there's a gunshot and a sudden sound like something fell. Miku was terrified and frightened and didn't do anything. And then again she hear a gunshot and she was sure it was in the personal office of her father. After 5 minutes of silence, she went outside her room and on the hallway she saw her mother lying down with a pool of blood that made her white dress into rose red. She went to her father's personal office and there she saw her father sitting on the chair with a gunshot on it's forehead. She was Devastated, her face became expression less and felt something chill. Her voice wont come out. When she was walking down the stairs there she saw their servants killed. And the she suddenly noticed the fire in the kitchen. It was already big and all she can do was to run outside. Miku saw how the Empire Estates fall with her bare eyes. She run to their garden and beside the labyrinth stood their gardeners house. She slammed the door and saw their gardener doing something... normal. She told her what happened and the gardener can't believe it. Knowing that it was dangerous there, they went to the gardener's true house. After 2 days, they reported it to the police. The general was the one to talk to them but it doesn't even care on it and led her no choice.

The Duke had succeeded their trials. The suspect was the general itself who was so envious to their family's wealth. The general said that he didn't have anything for; he doesn't know where it is. She renovated their house and accepted their gardener again. After the renovation, she was so bored and went inside the labyrinth. When she reached the finish line, there she saw a statue of an angel that looks like her mother. And she also saw a gold plate on it that says: "My Melody Is Your Key". It is just very literal word for a geek like her. She knew that it's the song already. She sang it with all her heart again. And then the statue opened and there's a staircase. She really didn't expect something like it. All their family's wealth were under their garden. She received her rightful things.

After finishing her studies, she, and herself run their company and after some year she and Kaito got married. And Miku gave birth of a baby girl; she named hey "Meiko". She sang the song that her mother always sang for her.

But as they thought that it was the good ending, the massacre again happened. And once again the heir was lost... and also the gardener.

The police officers suspected one person and it was the gardener herself who always wished to have a daughter of her own. Some records said that it was inherited through their family because her grandmother who only had sons did the same thing to the family it serves before. But what would happen to the little Meiko...?
