A little girl with a pastel yellow sundress helped up the crying boy from the ground while her friend faced the people who made the little boy cry. Though her friend was shaking in his shoes at the three bullies, his scared face held determination to stop this bullying. Tugging his peppermint green tee with shaking hands.
"That's enough Kacchan, can't you see he's crying!" As he took a stance that seemed ready to fight the three, "Or I'll never forgive you!"
The girl now joined her friend's side in facing the bullies, nodding in agreement, her stance calm unlike her shaking green haired friend. Seeing as the three looked at the two in shock at their retaliation, but that slowly changed when the ring leader of this group spoke with a angry smile, "You're always acting like a hero" Punching his hand into his fists with an explosion, "DEKU!"
Crying out in fear, 'Deku' hid behind the (H/c) as she now took a protective stance as her face darkened at the charging forms. Two katana swords manifested behind the girl and shot out towards the charging bullies. Two of the bullies, the pudgy one with wings and the lanky one with elastically long fingers stopped and ran to high hills away from the speeding weapons. Even 'Kacchan' stopped, falling on his back at the now hovering, threatening, swords, "Dammit (Y/n)! This is between me and Deku-" But was cut off when the swords tipped his head back.
"His name is Izuku..." As the girl glared at the ashy-blonde bully on the ground, "Now get lost or I'll beat you up like last time..."
'Kacchan' flinched at her cold threat, turning tail and ran, not before he gave a hateful glare with glazed eyes. Watching the three run away, her swords returned to her side, floating circles around her small form, before disappearing into thin air. Sighing sadly at the running figure of the ash-blonde, turning to see if Izuku was fairing, but to see her friend watching her in awe.
"That was so cool (Y/n)!" As his small smile broadened into a bigger one along with shining green eyes, "I bet you'll be one of the best Hero's in the world!"
"Hero..."The word came out low, turning to her hand, fisting it tightly. Nodding her head, turning to the boy "Mmm...Izuku."
Catching his attention, the little girl smiled to the boy, "Can I be your Hero?"
"Eh-EHHHHH?!" Blushing brightly at the girl's question, glancing other places but the girl's deep stare. Still not able to look her in the eye, but faced the ground and pull the rim of his shirt down in nervousness.
The girl smiled brightly, moving forward and taking his hand, leading the two towards the other boy. Izuku silently following (Y/n), taking the bullied child to his home safely, then the two headed towards theirs.
"We're home!" Both children called out, a woman with the same hair color and face as Izuku, minus the freckles, appeared by the kitchen doorway, "Welcome home you two!"
As they removed their shoes and ran excitedly to the television, trying to see if any news of their favorite Hero aired. The woman watched the two with a broad smile "How was school, you both hanged out with your friends?"
"They're scums now." Was (Y/n)'s blunt answer with a deadpan face, sitting next to Izuku and facing the television.
"Eh?!" Shocking the woman at her bluntness and the angry face the girl made.
"(Y-Y/n)!" Izuku exclaimed at the girl's word, not wanting her to talk about todays event. (Y/n) only shrugged, "But I made sure they wouldn't do anything bad to Izuku." Pouting at the warning frown from her green haired friend.
The woman, known as Inko, laughed at the two "My, my, is little (Y/n) being a knight in shining armor to Izuku?"
"Yes~!" Perking up at the word and exclaimed in agreement, "I'm Izuku's hero! I'll protect him from all the bad guys, because I'm his hero!"
laughing even more at the two and her son's blushing face, "I swear, you two get cuter and cuter together." Entering the kitchen once more, "Dinners almost ready."
"Okay!" The two children responded, watching the news about All Might fighting and defeating another villain. The girl glanced at the smiling boy, a pink blush grew on the little girls face, as she too smiled at the hero.
'Izuku...I promise to protect you'
"I promise..."
"Did you say something (Y/n)?" Turning to the girl, she rapidly shook her head with a blush, "Nothing, nothing!" While smiling brightly to the boy.
That was years ago that I made that childish promise, but none the less, I kept that promise and took it to heart.
I've lost everything, everything but the two people I now hold dear.
This world is cruel, I've learned that before the age of four.
But it didn't have to, not for my precious friend, Izuku.
