My name is Austin, and I never really felt like I fit in. My friends are always busy, and I seem to be left out a lot. My mom always says to give it time, and soon I'll have a lot of things to do. I moved to Savannah Georgia, six years ago, and have few friends. The few friends I do have will always be there for me, because they are family... even if they don't seem to be able to hang out a lot. Everyone has a sacred place to feel safe, and that's called my room. Well when I say my room I actually mean my closet. It's not super big at all, but I'm not a weirdo who sits in his closet either. On my seventeenth birthday I found a key in my closet floor. It was in some lock that I have never seen before. I decided to go adventure, but I didn't tell anyone, because who would let me adventure into a random hole in my closet? The whole was about the right size for me to climb into, and out of without me having to struggle. Then a long hall of stone, seemed to be made for me, let towards a bright light. A sweet breeze was coming from the light opening, and I was getting light headed from the excitement. I was thinking about telling some friends about it, and we can have our own place to hang out, but the problem is.... who will they tell? I decided I will only tell five friends, but I'll decide that later. When I reached the opening it was too bright to see, and it was... rippling? I reached out, and it absorbed my hand, and started to change colours. I tried to remove my hand, but it started to hurt as I pulled away. As my panic started to form the 'thing' stopped on a soothing royal blue. My hand was released, and a female voice started speaking.
?- "Access granted.... welcome home Austin. My name is AUTO, and I can answer any questions you have."
AU- "What did you mean by 'welcome home'?"
AUTO- "you are an ancient time traveler. This is your home, and I am your help."
AU- "What does AUTO stand for?"
AUTO- "It stands for Austin's Universal Time Operator."
AU- "Who's aloud in my 'home' other than me, and you?"
AUTO- "Any one you give permission, but no one can use anything. Only you can do anything. Now if you're done asking questions walk through the wall when it's your colour to enter."
AU- "Okay here goes nothing."I walk through the blue wall, and I am greeted with a screen in front of a centred chair. When I sat down I put my hand on the scanner, and a projector showed earth. I swiped my hand to the right, and time started to go back. The time kept going backwards until I put my hand up as if I was making someone stop. I stood up, and the projection turned off. The blue door opened, and I was in a cave. I walked out, and saw giant trees with pterodactyls circling. Looking around I realized where I was... or when I was, and instantly decided who I was allowing in this machine with me.
