She cries out in the dark, but there's no answer. Is anyone listening? Can anyone hear her cries? She carries a burden that seems to be weighing her down. It feels as though she'll never get free. The darkness is creeping up. What is she to do? Then when it seems that all hope is lost, a verse randomly pops into her head. It is Joshua 1:9 and it reads, "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go." But that verse wasn't enough unfortunately, she still felt down. She decided to look for more verses like this one and found a few, another one being Isaiah 41:10. This passage reads, "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." She slowly began to feel lighter. Then she read 1 John 1:5, it reads, "God is LIGHT and in Him there is NO DARKNESS." She has God, even when she doesn't feel His presence. Faith isn't seeing, it's believing. She may not see Him, or feel Him, but He is always there. So now, whenever she feels this was, she literally cries out to God and she knows that God doesn't always answer right away and sometimes it isn't the answer we want, but He above all knows what is best for us. Sometimes He lets us get what we want even if it isn't what's best for us, just to draw us back to Him in the end. She is NOT EVER alone.
