Family breakfast time- the only time where we (my mom, my dad, my little sister and my big brother) could sit around a huge circular table and eat in peace. See my Mom is a surgeon and usually gets called in on nights, so my dad had this weird tradition that we can not eat together as a family with out her being there, meaning when it was dinner time, I would just eat in room and study.
My goal this year was to get a 5.0 GPA, it's the highest GPA you could get at my school. It is not impossible since my school gives out several AP classes that are weighted as 5.0, the only reason why I'm doing this is because my dream college, Vanderbilt, looks at both weighted and unweighted, so why not brag? They also accept AP credit, which I have passed some in my junior year but not all because you know the teacher isn't really committed but it is an easy A.
I have heard the AP Gov had an easy teacher, but I will pass that exam, even if the teacher is complete crap.
"Ayana you seem to be really focused." My dad taps his fork on his plate.
"Yes, my senior year starts today!" I exclaimed,"I am number one in my class and-"
"Stop while your ahead, Ayana." My brother, Smoke, cuts me off,"High school is easy as crap, you are on your mighty horse now, but let me tell college is going to kick you off that horse."
"Smoke!" My Mom screeches,"Be nice, I know college is stressful but don't take it out on Ayana."
"It is just a warning, little sis." Smoke slurs on sis.
"Jealousy does not look good on you bro." My little sister, Claire, sticks out her tongue.
"Thanks everyone, except for smoke." I smirk,"Vanderbilt here I come."
"Well you mean Deanne High School, because you are going to end up late with all this chatter." My dad teases me.
"Oh gosh!" I scream,"Yes I gotta go, see you later!"
"Bye little miss perfectionist." My brother hissed.
"Bye drunk sour puss!" I yell back.
I left my plate on the table, hoping that my mom wouldn't mind picking it up for me. I ran out to my red corvette, starting that handsome hunk up, what a great combination that I was blessed with. I was smack down gorgeous with my curly blonde hair and lime green eyes, I was extremely intelligent and I was filthy rich. See I recognized my self as being perfect in my world, I was far from being insecure, but there is one thing that I wish I had.
That was having a boyfriend, all the guys at my school were ether video game addicts or stuck up jocks that only wanted to keep your panties as a reward for sleeping with you. That hasn't personally happened with me, because I have never been kissed my guy, too busy with my studies I guess. Now don't confuse me with some nerdy type of girl ether, I'm popular with tons of friends, I just don't have a boyfriend.
I finally got to school on time, I was panting terribly since my high heels were not meant for running, sorry girls. I slowed down a bit when I got to my locker and saw my blonde twin, aka not really my twin, my best friend Tinka waiting for me.
"So sorry Tinka!" I quickly did my combination,"Time and High hells aren't best friends."
"Slow your roll Cottonwood, I just spotted Mr. Hottie." Tinka dropped her jaw.
"Who is it?" I wiggled my eyebrows,"A new student?"
"More like new teacher yikes." Her eyes were glued on to this so called new teacher.
"Well let me just take a look." I laughed sarcastically, I thought Tinka was fooling me, but never in my life did I believe that there would be a handsome male teacher.
