Darkness Rises

Fallen/ Chapter ten

                                                            Malena screamed fighting the man's grip in horror. "No-please no leave me be!" She gaped at him as his fingers loosened only to grab her again eyes slightly glazed yet determined "that trick will do you no good again little flower, i will not let you trap me in your spell and run away again" he hissed at her as she stomped on his foot and elbowed him in his stomach he grunted as her let her go.

                                                                    She wasted no time and whirled around running deeper into the forest the thought to go back to the old couples house had presented its self however she did not want to risk their lives nor Salam in his weaked state if she went back there she knew all hope would be lost. She rounded a huge oak tree and fell at its roots breathing heavily trying to cacth her breath as a sudden crunch of boots upon leaves made her hold her breath and press her back painfully into the bark wishing she could mold into it and vanish without a trace, as the footsteps came closer she quickly scanned her surroundings for a wepon of some sort the defend her self with or even knock him unconscious the thought of harming her mate made her chest hurt and her heart ach already their bond was growing strenghting. "Little flower.. please i implore you to come to me before i find you so that your punishment will be-less painful". Malena trembled why would someone show them selves if they would be punished less punishment or not it was still the same, she bit her lip in annoyance and distress should she  heed his warning and go to him? Or should she stay where she was? "You took too long to decide little one" the voice came from beside her she screamed as she saw him leaning against the trunk smiling down at her with a amused look upon his face. "Stop! Do not dear to come closer!"

Vandar stared at the young woman her voice slide over his entire body heating his blood which caused him to growl despit the fact that it clouded his mind trying to force him to comply with her words, he shook his head no he would not fall for this spell again he would not let her control him the thought brought back dark mermories which made his eyes darken in anger and he wacthed her eyes widen in horror and disbelief as her spell broke, before she uttered a other word he clamped his hand over her mouth not breaking eye contact "sleep my little flower- sleep for me".
                                                         

Malena felt tears run down her cheeks as her mind started to haze she blinked yet she could not stop her eyelids from closing. 
Vandar stared at her wipeing her tears away "please dear do not hate me for this - i am a selfish man" and with a chaste kiss on her cheek they both disappared into a thick cloud of smoke, the only eyes that beheld this transaction were the tree spirts and the animals of the forest.

Salam got up with a sharp pain shooting through his skull he hissed pressing the heel of his hand over his eye the light far too bright for him, where was Malean and why was this terrible feeling fleeting in his chest "oh lay down child!" A old lady exclamed pushing him gently back onto the bed "wh-where is-" his voice was hoarse and his throat felt like he had swallowed broken peices of glass "you are safe dear and so is your young lady friend shes out and about but she shall return soon do not freat dear" the lady smiled at him kindly as he nodded eyes feeling heavy as he fell back asleep plaged by nightmares of Malena screaming and crying for him to save her.

~ it was thick the mist that clouded her mind , her thoughts, her every heartbeat sounded loud in her ears she could no see what lied ahead yet dread and an uneasy feeling wove its way around her entire being into her subconcious, in the faint distance she could feel fingers stroke her cheek.~
