Chapter Twenty - Six

Jaehee's Pov

Once I got dressed, I went down to the pool, yes SM owns a pool in the building, bet you didn't know that huh?

As I walked through this dark hallway, I suddenly felt chills down my spine, the cold wind wasn't helping at all. I was terribly nervous and kind of scared too.

I had no idea what awaited me once I arrived at the pool, Chanyeol was acting all suspicious too.

Couple of minutes later, I arrived at the pool but it was so dark I couldn't see a thing. If Chanyeol wanted me to meet him here then why was the lights off? The more I think about it the more suspicious I got.

I wrapped my arms around myself because it was so cold, I wished we had a heater in here. I waited 5 whole minutes for Chanyeol but he still hasn't appeared, I haven't turned on the lights yet because I figured he probably hasn't arrived yet.

Nothing bad happened to him right? He told me to meet him here and he went on ahead first but why hasn't he appeared yet? He couldn't possibly forget right?

Was I hallucinating when I saw Chanyeol earlier? But I haven't taken any pills or any drugs.

"Are you called?" I jumped and quickly turned around, I was startled by the voice that came out of nowhere. The person I saw definitely wasn't Chanyeol.

"Kai?" I raised a brow.

He smiled and ruffled my hair. "Did you wait long?"

I fixed my hair before I asked. "What are you doing here? Wasn't I supposed to meet Chanyeol?"

"Yeah but I came here in Chanyeol's place."

"Did something happened to him?"

"Nah, something just suddenly came up."

"Oh.." I'm not gonna lie, I was a bit disappointed to hear that, I mean the only why I'm still here was because of him, I thought that if it's Chanyeol, I could wait a little longer.

"Anyway, I need you to come with me." He grabbed my arm out of the blue. I almost jerked my arm back because of the sudden gesture but I knew Kai wouldn't do anything to me so I relaxed myself.

"Where are we going?"

A small grin appeared at the corner of his lips. "You'll see."

I had no idea what was going on but I decided to just roll with it.
