Lanas POV
"Soph, are you and your sister coming to Bexs for lunch?" I call from the kitchen. After a few seconds of waiting for a reply a small brunette skips into the kitchen, "mommy says me and Tom have to stay and clean up our room" the little girl states. "Oh okay sweetie tell your mom and your aunt I'll be back in a couple of hours"
I say smiling, moving her hair from her face. "Okay grandma" she says sweetly. "Bye iz" I say as she walks me to the door. "Bye" she replies as I walk to my car.
"So how are izzy, tom and jack?" The redhead asks taking a sip of her tea. "Oh there fine, izzy told me this morning that she wants to be an actress just like you bex, she never stops talking about you" I explain "Oh she's so sweet I'll have to go and visit again in a couple of days i really miss them" Bex expresses. "And how about Chloe and Katie?" I ask "Well Chloe just won first place in her schools talent show, man that girl can sing, and Katie..she's just well you know Katie. "Well I'm not surprised Chloe won, talent runs in her family" I say taking a cookie. "Oh I know" the woman says flipping her hair laughing. "Still the same old bex after all these years" I chuckle holding her hand."well your the one who's still here putting up with me" She laughs. "Well I told you, when I first found you lying all by yourself looking so distraught,I would never ever leave you again" i express."And for that I am forever thankful"
She says hugging me ."I love you bex" I whisper into her hair. "I love you too" she replies.
After Bex and I had lunch I went back to greet my husband and get ready for our anniversary dinner.
Bexs POV
After a couple of hours of being alone catching up on some Netflix shows Marc returned from work and we both decided to take a walk.
"I missed this" I express to my husband as we walk hand in hand down the cobble stone streets. "I know i can't remember the last time we just were together,not dealing with work or the kids" he replies. "Yes as much as I love our family,they can be a handful" I chuckle strolling towards a park. "So where do you wanna go?" I ask looking around. "Anywhere you want" he answers smiling. "Well how about-" suddenly my suggestion was cut of by a loud thud. My husband had now fell unconscious and was collapsed at my feet ."Marc...Marc "I shouted in fear drawing the attention of the passers by. "Someone call an ambulance" I shouted as tears began to flood my eyes. "Come on Marc don't leave me" I whisper laying my head on his chest waiting for the ambulance to arrive. Horrible thoughts raced through my head as I lay there for what seemed like forever holding his hand until the paramedics came onto the scene.
