As Luna uttered out that solitary word she felt Liz relax next to her. She smiled up at Liz before taking her hand. The other adults in the room all seemed pleased with her answer as well.

"Well, we can begin that paper work today then." Liz's lawyer smiled as Luna's parent's lawyer shook hands before leaving. The adults began talking again as Luna tuned out. She couldn't believe it, she gets to stay. Warmth seeped through her body as she sat there. She couldn't wait to tell the guys. It would definitely have to be done in person.

She began playing on her phone until Liz was finished. When they left the ball was rolling and papers were being sent to the proper places. Liz stopped  her as they made it outside, pulling her into a tight hug. She didn't et go for a few minutes, and Luna began to feat that she was crying.

"Are you okay Liz?"

"I'm fine, just very relieved and happy."

"Me too."

"I told you that we had nothing to worry about." Luna laughed as they got into the car to drive away.

"Lu, I don't want to ruin the happy, but I've got to let you know that I'm almost done setting up your parents' services."

"Oh." Surprise coated Luna's voice as she felt the air leave her lungs. How on earth could she have forgotten?

"When will we be doing that?"

"It'll be a couple more days. They were finally released yesterday. I invited a few of their work friends, so it will probably be relatively small and quiet. Is that okay?"

"It sounds perfect Liz. I'm sure anything you've planned will be just great. Thank you for doing this."

Liz nodded and smiled as she turned her concentration back to the road. For the rest of the drive the two were quiet. Luna was still happy, but a somber feeling had also taken over. She was unsure how to process the information that she'd be placing her parents in the ground.  Would people want her to say something? That was a thing right? Would she be able to stand in front of people and tell them about her parents?

"Lu, we're home sweetie." Liz's voice shook her from her thoughts as she looked up at the house. She didn't want to go inside just yet.

"Umm, Liz I think I'm going to sit outside for a little while."

"Okay, I'll just go inside and make us something for lunch then. Anything you might particularly want?"

"Anything is fine." She tried to reassure Liz with a smile, but she just couldn't seem to make the muscles in her face move.  Liz nodded and left her alone. She looked around before walking over to the tree in her front yard. She tried to place her hands in the proper spots to climb up, but her bandaged hand wasn't cooperating. Flopping down on the ground she sighed. Maybe a new family would move into this house. She snuggled down further until she was comfortable as she continued thinking about hopes for the house. Soon, her eyes shut and her body relaxed into the comfort of sleep.

"Luna! Lu, you need to wake up."  Luna's eyes popped open to find Luke standing over her with his guitar in his hand. She rubbed her eyes and yawned.

"Oh hey Luke." She sat up stretching before looking up at him.

"Why are you sleeping outside?"

"I didn't mean to fall asleep. I guess I just got really comfortable."

"Do you know how long I've been out here?"

"It can't have been for very long or else mum would have woken you up. I shouldn't be surprised to find you sleeping, you can practically fall asleep anywhere." Luke snorted as he helped Luna off the ground. Dusting herself off they made their way to the house.
