My name is Keeva Archer Wilde, I am the only daughter of my father. We both reside near Slyborn Palace,  I have been training on how to fight since I was four years old. I know how to shoot an arrow five hundred feet away from me or more, and I also know how to kill you in a million ways. I am now 17, and in this kingdom, they say a seventeen year old maiden must participate on the tests or else her family would be executed--that would be my only family, my father.

So, I have no choice but to take the test on the upper-main town--meaning the palace grounds. There is a rumor going on, they said that the prince is an arrogant prick, and I immediately believed them because my father says he is. My father serves the king himself, and we live in a big manor. I don't have any siblings, not a mother as well.

My mother died when I was at a mere age of five, father said it was just a disease not one doctor can heal--even the king's doctor. "Keeva, daydreaming again!?" Some angelic asked voice asked out of nowhere, and I did not bother to look at her. Because, she owns that voice, my best friend.

Reeya Kensington Ives, It's very funny to think that we both ended up having two "e's" on our first name. Red, long hair awkwardly hangs over a thin, charming face. Gentle blue eyes, freckles are spread gorgeously around her cheeks and leaves a captivating memory of her fortunate looks.

While, I, Keeva Archer Wilde. Blue hair in a braid reveals a chiseled, cheerful face. Clear hazel eyes, set appealingly within my eyes, freckles are spread handsomely around my nose and cheekbones. "No Reeya, I was thinking about it." I replied, while glancing over at my window. I turned to her, and her smile that she always wear turns to a frown.

"Reeya, don't be like that. You know we have to." I reminded her, and she nodded and plopped down in my gigantic bed with gold and satin colors.

"You know, even if we could pass the test, We would still be doomed with all the levels they'll give us in the competition" She retorted, and I rolled my eyes and plopped down the bed as well. "Do you know what the kingdom's flag look like?" Reeya randomly asks, and I raised my hands and enthusiastically nodded and began answering her question.

"The flag is made up of an outlined cross in dark silver, white, orange and dark grey. Their emblem consists of a fifteen point star under an iceberg, the emblem stands for their endurance, their audacity and their lineage."  I answered her, with pure pride in my voice.

"Well, the papyrus scrolls that your dad made you study seems to be paid off." She said while twisting a lock of her red hair.

"Well, we better go to the port."
