Percy
"Are you sure it was him?" Hermione questioned me.
I numbly nodded my head, remembering the vivid image in my brain,"It was."
"Oh, Percy." Ginny consoled,"I'm sorry."
I shrugged nonchalantly,"It doesn't matter anymore."
Ron's eyebrows furrowed,"Bloody hell, mate. How would it not matter? You broke your bloody leg in reaction to Vaisey's cheating!"
I kicked my crutch nonchalantly to the side,"It's life. He just wasn't the guy."
Harry picked up my crutch, offering it to me,"We can beat him up if you want."
I shook my head,"I don't want to dwell on it. Can we just forget it, please?"
"Percy! There you are!" A voice exclaimed excitedly.
I frowned, and turned around. Instantly, lips were smashed passionately onto mine. Immediately, I recoiled in disdain, identifying the person attacking my body right now. My nostrils flared when I realized it was Vaisey. When I pulled back, he looked at me confused. Without a moment to lose, I pulled back my hand and slapped him hard across the face.
"Don't ever touch me again." I hissed.
His eyes widened in hurt,"What? Why not?"
I quickly grabbed my crutch, hobbling away from him,"Stay away from me, you fucking cheater."

"You're such a liar." Someone said, making me raise my head.
Vaisey's friends surrounded me. I was in the Slytherin common room, doing my Transfiguration homework. They all looked at me with disgust. One of them was holding my crutch out of my reach. Suddenly ink was poured all over my work, destroying whatever I had.
I took a deep breath,"I'd appreciate it if you didn't accuse me of falsities."
I was smacked with my crutch, making me fall out of my chair. I gripped my leg as it got jostled painfully. I heard snickers from around and knew the whole house was watching. I gritted my teeth in annoyance, looking up at the offenders.
One of the girls looked livid,"Falsities? You claimed that Vaisey cheated on you! There's no way that's true, so you're a liar."
I pulled myself to my feet,"Ha! What did he tell you, huh?"
One of the wizards in the group stepped forward, poking my chest repeatedly,"He said that you accused him of cheating. Slapping him in the process, if you wanted out, next time just confront him."
I bared my teeth,"I'm the one that wanted out? I saw him screwing someone else Saturday, so unless me wanting out is allowing him to mess around with another person, then I'm not the one you should be talking to."
With that said, I snatched my crutch back, and left the room. My stuff magically floated behind me, disappearing neatly into my trunk. I entered the boy's dormitories, making my way to my bed. I collapsed on the soft surface, looking out the window. I heard a meow, and saw my cat hopping onto my bed.
I beckoned her forward, and she climbed onto my lap. I pulled Sally to my chest, and snuggled under the covers. Without my consent, tears started falling from my eyes as I clutched my cat closer to my body. Oh mother, why did it hurt so much?

"I can't believe you kissed my sister!" Ron declared in disbelief.
I chuckled,"I can't believe he had the guts to do it."
Harry drew back, mock offended,"You guys have no faith in me."
"I have faith in you." Ginny proclaimed, leaning in to kiss Harry.
I laughed as Harry melted into it. He completely forgot the conversation, he was so whipped. The rest of the day we all spent hanging out like a group of friends. We finished our homework, ate our food, ventured around Hogsmeade, and just relaxed. When I got a tap on my shoulder, I found my two cousins looking at me solemnly.
They sat down silently with the group. We all resided by the lake now. Their expressions sobered up my friends. The group sat up straighter with me. On Fred's shoulder was an owl. Not just any owl, but my previous boyfriend in his animagus form
My eyes narrowed on Vaisey. I bit my lip to keep myself from blurting out his secret. I kept myself still, because if I moved I knew it would end up with that owl underwater. I continued to glare at the owl, confusing my friends who cooed at it. It just stared at me innocently, shrinking its body even smaller, like it was being attacked.
"Percy, we have some news." Hermes stated seriously.
"I've noticed." I answered, my tone sharp.
"It involves Vaisey." Apollo responded, not reacting to my snap.
"I know." I growled.
"We re-evaluated his actions last Saturday, because we thought it was odd." Hermes started, his voice soft.
"So?"
"It wasn't his fault." Apollo revealed quickly.
I bit my tongue on accident, cursing,"What?"
They couldn't be serious. Were they defending his actions? How would it not be his fault? He was the one inserting himself into someone else. Vaisey was on top, taking control, how would he be innocent in all of this?
"He was under the imperius curse." Hermes continued, shocking me.
"By who?" I asked, my voice an inaudible whisper.
"Either Crabbe or Goyle." Apollo explained,"We went through Vaisey's memories, and found both of them around Vaisey before everything went dark."
"Why would they care about Percy's love life?" Hermione burst in the conversation, confused.
Hermes shrugged,"Only voices in Vaisey's memories involve talk about mentally incapacitating Percy. Magic is basically a mental thing, wandless wizard gone with one person."
"I need to go speak with Vaisey." I said, standing up quickly,"Maelstrom?"
I held out my free arm, and the owl flew over to perch on it. My crutch went under my arm, and as fast as I could, I was inside the castle once again. I immediately went to where the Room of Requirement was, wishing for a place to be comfortable with my boyfriend.
The door appeared, and a nice pent house kind of place was inside. A living room with couches and games. A kitchen without any food, to the side, I saw a door leading to what I assumed was the bedroom. I hobbled to the couch and sat down.
The owl carefully tread its way down my arm to sit on the couch. It looked up at me with its wide beautiful blue eyes. Small tears silently ran down the side of my face. The next thing I know, a gentle hand is wiping them away. Vaisey sat next to me in his human form, comforting my state of mind.
"It wasn't you." I whispered.
Vaisey shook his head,"No. I would never do that to you on purpose."
"Promise?"
He leaned his face in. Our foreheads touched, and his eyes bore into mine. I felt his warm breath on my cheeks, and his fingers were softly running through my hair. I sighed loudly, holding his other hand in between mine.
"I promise." Vaisey whispered back.
Tell me what you think...
