The floor seemed to vibrate with each beat of the song. I pushed passed people shouting apologies over the deafening music. I'm having zero luck finding Caitlyn. She called me an hour ago piss drunk and here I am in my pajamas pushing through drunk college students trying to find her.

I was scanning over the crowd till I saw a flash of bright red hair. I smiled triumphantly, I've found her. My victory was short lived when I realized she was dancing on a coffee table drawing a small herd of guys and a couple girls.

I sighed dramatically making my way between them to stand in front of her.

"Cait!" I yelled.

Her head whipped over towards me and a big, drunk smile slapped itself on her face.

"Harmy!" She slurred in excitement.

She reached out to me and yanked me in to the table by my t-shirt. I nearly fell when I got up; I was blushing furiously. I'm wearing a plain black t-shirt and pink fuzzy short-shorts and black hard sole slippers. My car keys were clutched tightly in my hand along with my phone.

"Caitlyn I'm here to take you home!"

She stopped mid dance to pout and me and yell,"But I'm having fun!"

"Lets go now!" I grabbed her hand and dragged her off of the table to the door, this was followed by many groans in protest.

I rolled my eyes and didn't let her go till we got to the car. I was lucky her small black purse was still strapped across her body because there's no way I'm going back in there for anything.

The whole drive to our apartment she whined about having to leave and how hungry she was. I ignored her as much I could.

When we got to the apartment she collapsed in bed and passed out. I took off her shoes and tucked her in then set two Advil and a glass of water on her bed side table.

The next morning I heard her groaning and rush to the bathroom.

I held back a laugh when she came into the kitchen and plopped down on a chair.

"Well good morning, party girl." I spoke in a slightly louder tone than necessary while setting a mug of coffee down on the table in front of her.

She shushed me lazily while sipping her coffee. I rolled my eyes and drank my own.

"So what's the plan today?" I asked her while sitting on the chair next to her.

She froze mid shrug and turned to me in a panic.

"What day is it?" She asked, frantically getting out of her chair.

"It's the third. It's Saturday. What... what's going on with you?" I continued to question her as I followed her down the hall to her room.

"Oh shit."

"What?" I keep asking.

She slowly turns to me with a sheepish smile.

"Well you remember my brother?"

I slowly nod.

I never met the guy. I only heard about him. He's not her full brother, he's half. They share the same dad. He left home as soon as he got his diploma. Which was a few years before I moved to town and we graduated high school. She rarely hears from him just an 'I'm safe' every once in a while.
