(Newt x Reader)

9: Attack

I woke up the next day feeling way better than before, I stood up and Newt then walked in he was quiet and he seemed actually a lot better from yesterday

"Do you.. Do you wanna walk around the Glade with me? I feel like walking... With you" He said, I nodded and we began to walk around the Glade

"No, ok so you have to be polite when someone asks you to barrow something and you let them use it till there done" I told him

"If someone asks for something that you cherish and love you'd be polite and give it to them?"

"Well if there asking for that no"

"Hey! Stop throwing those!" Newt and I looked over and seen someone throwing rocks at people and yelling stuff, Newt and I looked at each other than we ran towards the scene

"Don't come near me! Leave me alone! I'm warning you!"

"Welp, the girls awake" Newt said

"Wow.. I couldn't have guessed that" I sarcastically said

"Leave me alone!" I look over and Thomas along with Minho came up

"Hey! Throw one more of those I swear ill-" Gally began to say before getting interrupted by a rock hitting him on the back

"Hey! St-.. It's me! Thomas!" After those words came out of Thomas's mouth the girl stopped
"I'm coming up ok?" He said hesitating to go up

"I'm glad you weren't like that (R/n)" Fry said while shaking his head

"Let's give them some privacy (R/n)" Newt said, I nodded and we began to walk away

Newt and I just laid on my hammock holding hands and just talking, he was in a really good mood. After Newt and I began this relationship he hasn't been busy telling people what to do, he actually didn't do much even if he were second in command to Ably, he honestly just gave me all his attention and I loved it. Then he sighed

"It's weird that... Right when I seen your face for the first time I felt as if... I already knew you" He looked me in the eyes and continued to speak
"What if we were already together and didn't know it.. It's actually kind of sad, we had no idea who we were and whoever we were before could have already knew and were closer than we thought when we seen each other and didn't know anything of each other anymore" He then chuckled
"Sorry, now I'm just rambling and not making since anymore" I sat up and looked down at me

"I know what you mean Newt, I've thought about it many times before" Newt leaned down and kissed me, it was more deep than last time. He let my hand go and then he got on top of me. I lifted my hand and then he locked hands with mine again, he backed up a bit and then continued to kiss me even deeper, he squeezed my hand and then laid it over my head. He bit my bottom lip lightly. He then put his hand in my shirt and slowly he got closer and closer to my breast. On shock to a loud noise Newt and I jumped up and looked over to see Minho.

"It's time for bed and I'm sure it would be wise for (R/n) to sleep alone like usual?" He questioned with a smirk, he closed the door. Newt and I looked at each other awkwardly

"Um.. so... Not tonight then?" He chuckled

"Guess not" I smiled, he got up. He kissed my forehead and then my lip and left

The next day Newt and I were doing more work than we have the passed days, we've decided to help around the Glade today while Thomas and Minho went out to check things out at section seven. It's pretty weird knowing that they might find a way out, I'll finally be leaving this place. The only home I've known after getting the other one wiped out of my mind. I care less if I leave it though, some things just need to be abandoned.

"(R/n) can you get me some more dirt?" Zart asked giving me the bucket. I nodded and took it going into the woods

When I came back Minho and Thomas were back. I then see that Gally began to argue with them. I ran up to the scene about to try and stop it

"Guys.. Guys!" I looked over to see Teresa
"Alby's awake" She said, everyone than ran to the Med-jack

"Hey... Alby, are you ok?" Newt said in a slow and soft voice

"Hey Alby, it's Thomas. How are you doing?" Thomas asked
Alby looked at Thomas and began to cry, he mumbled something to him. I couldn't hear so I got closer

"You know you were always there favorite" He said, I was very confused but then got concerned to people yelling from the outside, Newt looked back at me and than he got up, he ran out and I fallowed.

"Hey what's going on?" Minho asked

"The walls aren't closing" Someone answered

"What?" I asked Newt, he turned to me with a pale face, the palest I've ever seen him ever. We ran to the walls and looked through them, it was dark and still. But then a loud noise made everyone jump, we looked over and another door was opening, another crash than came. Another one opened, then another crash, my heart dropped when I heard the screams of something familiar
