Chapter 10

"They look so comfortable. I don't want to wake them up." I heard Zach say.
"But we have to rehearse for our show today plus I'm starving I want to go get breakfast at Dennys" Daniel replied back.
"We need a way to get them up without hurting anyone."
I opened my eyes immediately. I was trapped. Jonah had one arm wrapped around me and I couldn't move. My eyes widened.
"Oh Look you woke Karen up Great" Zach said,glaring at Daniel.
"Good Morning Sunshine."
I gave them a lazy smile and rubbed my eyes with my free hand. Jonah was holding me tight and I was having a difficult time to breathe. I moved slowly, trying to free myself from Jonah's grasp. Daniel and Zach stood there just watching. They probably found this entertaining.
"Good Luck. I've been there and I've done that but Jonah will not let you go until he wakes up" Daniel said. I groaned. Both of them walked over and poked Jonah. He didn't budge. He was just snoring. It was really cute but I didnt have time to think of that. I was just trying to get out of his strong grasp.
"Jonahhhh" Daniel said, in a high pitched voice. He got on top of the bed with Zach and they each grabbed a pillow.
"Karen this is a Code Red situation. When Jonah lets go of you I want you to run. In the count of three okay?" Zach instructed. I nodded.
"1....2.....3."
Both Zach and Daniel started attacking Jonah with pillows causing Jonah to wake up.
"What the -?" He let go of me and rubbed his eyes.
"Run Karen Run"
I jumped off before I could get dragged in the situation and stood by the door. The boys jumped off of the bed and walked over to me.
"You did good,soldier. You are now a free women." Zach said.
Jonah sat up.
"What was that for?" Jomah asked.
"You didn't let Karen breathe. Poor Little Girl she was being suffocated by your big arms"
I laughed and my phone started ringing. The room got quiet and they all stared at me. They probably thought it was Mark but Mark didn't actually know my number.
I grabbed my phone and answered the call.
"Hello?"
"Karen! Where are you? Where's Jacky? Are you girls okay?" It was Jeylin. She was Jacky and I's other best friend. She was also Mark's stepsister. Jacky and Mark met because of Jeylin. But Jeylin was the opposite of Mark. She was kind hearted and a really great, supportive friend. At first she was happy that Jacky and Mark were dating but then she realized that Mark was not good for Jacky.
"We're fine. We're just staying over at a friend's house."
"Mark is going insane. He came home last night and He was screaming at me to tell him who Jacky's new boyfriend was. And i said i didnt know and then he left. By the way I didnt know Jacky had a new boyfriend."
"She doesnt. It was a lie.We just wanted him to leave Jacky alone"
"I can't wait for us to find a new apartment so we can all move in together. Im sick and tired of living with Mark. I sometimes wish his dad didnt marry my mom. Mark is such an asswhole and a gold digger. But whatever Anyways,want to meet up for breakfast?"
"Sure" I agreed.
"I have to go I think he's coming in. He's probably drunk like always. I'll meet you at Denny's in 10."
"We'll be there." I said, beforing hanging up. I look up and the guys were waiting for me to tell them who it was.
"It was a friend. Jacky and I are going to have breakfast with her."
"Let's go wake Jacky and Corbyn up." Zach said looking at Daniel. Daniel nodded and off they went. I grabbed my duffel bag and walked to the bathroom. I changed into leggings and a black t shirt and I slipped on my black/pink Nike slides, on top of my black socks. I didn't really feel like dressing up today or any other day. I hated dressing up unless it was for a special occasion. I brushed my hair with my brush that I had brought from home and I put my hair up in a messy bun. I put my stuff back in the bag and I walked outside. Jonah was sitting at the edge of the bed,with his eyes closed. I decided to not disturb him and I quietly put my charger and converse in the bag and I left the room. Jacky was heading out of the room in front of me as well.
"Are you ready?" She asked. I nodded. The other boys were downstairs chilling on the couch. They were all dressed up and ready for the day. They all stood up when we approached them.
"We wanted to thank you for letting us stay. Thank you for caring about us. You guys mean the world to us and we love you so much. " Jacky said.
"Thank you for staying and just know we're always here for you when you need us" Daniel said, giving us both a hug. The rest of the boys followed his lead.
"You guys are amazing. We're going to miss you." I said.
"We're going to miss you too." Jack replied.
"I already got you an uber." Corbyn said.
"Thank you."
"Remember Jacky if you ever need anything or if Mark ever gets near you, call me." Corbyn stated. Jacky nodded. Corbyn came over and leaned in to whisper something in my ear.
"Please take care of Jacky for me. I'm always going to be worried about her. She's an amazing girl and I just want the best for her"
I nodded and smiled, giving him a hug. He was so caring.
"Karen whats your number? In case you ever need anything" Jack asked. I smiled as he handed me his phone and I typed it in.
"I want to have your number too." Zach said,pouting. I giggled. He was so adorable. I grabbed his phone and typed my number in as well.
"Why dont we all just give each other our numbers for when theres an emergency?" Jonah said, walking down the stairs. He was already dressed and ready for the day as well. He looked really good in person just as he did in my poster at home.
'Karen no your favorite member is Jack. Be Loyal to him' I thought to myself.
After a few minutes of exchanging numbers, it was time to say Goodbye to the boys and to the big beautiful house. We hugged the boys one last time.
"Text me." Jonah whispered in my ear as I hugged him. He winked at me. I nodded and got into the Uber. Jacky was already inside. We waved Goodbye. It was probably our last time seeing the boys ......or was it?
