Chapter 1

Song Jae's POV

I ran away after hearing the news. I left class immediately, the teacher and my classmates looked at me. My grandfather is dying, I needed to get to him. I ran so fast like a cheetah. I am now close to the hospital, as I was crossing the road a loud honk of a horn was the last thing I heard and everything went blank.

Annyeonghaseyo, Han Song Jae imnida. I'm 18 years old, smart, rich and single (ready to mingle😂).
I'm an only child, which is good. My parents own the biggest and most popular company in Korea that's why we're rich.

As I open my eyes bright lights blind me, "SongJae, sweetheart you're awake, are you feeling okay?" My mom bombarded me with questions. 'Huh how long was I out?' Then my mind thought of grandpa.
I looked at my mom, "Eomma, where is harabeoji?" I asked. Her face turned down she then looked at my dad which was sitting on the sofa. I glanced at my dad, then he shooked his head. I looked at my mom pleading her for the answer. Mom turned to look at me with sad and teary eyes. "He's gone SongJae" My eomma bursted out crying. I looked at her shock.

I tried to get up 'Aniyo this isn't happening '  But my sore ribs and feet kept me on the bed, I howled in pain, 'That was a bad idea' . I couldn't do anything. Appa tried comforting eomma. I just looked down to my lap and started crying.

I got back at school after 3 weeks. Many things happened, I skipped class, I ran like a maniac in the road, I got into an accident, my harabeoji is dead, and his funeral was just held last week. Thinking about him makes me want to cry, he's the best grandfather you could ever ask. Good thing my best friends Lisa and Sehun are always there for me. They've been visiting me in the hospital, the past few weeks.

I wore my usual nerdy style, and no I don't get bullied, beacuse I'm the bully, joke. Its just if you mess with me and my friends you'll probably regret it.

As I was walking in the hall ways, there you could see the side of the populars, the kingkas and queenkas of this school. Ugh why do they have to pick on the low level students. I mean what could they get or have when they've finished hurting them, nothing.

My phone vibrated, I took a peek and saw that I got a message from eomma:

Eomma: Be home early don't go home late

I replied her with a simple,

'Arraseo eomma, saranghae'

I laughed at how stupid I am.

"Annyeong SongJae-ah" I heard someone said while covering my eyes. I turn around while removing his hand, "Annyeong Sehun-nie" I said while giggling.

Actually I have a little, tinsy wincey bit crush on Sehun, well actually alot. Whenever I see him my world becomes unicorns and rainbows. He's actually my first love I think. We met in grade school and we're neighbors. And yes he is also rich. I actually live in a mansion.

"Where's Lisa?" I asked him. He just shrugged his shoulders. "Maybe she's already in class" He replied. "Arraseo" is all i said.

Some people may think that I and Sehun are dating, which I really wish was true. Sehun is a closed book, you can't read him easily, so I don't know if he likes me the way I like him, sometimes boys are just difficult. Me and Sehun are pretty close, we sometimss walk to school hand by hand, and sometimes he puts his arm around my shoulder. I am really lucky to have a friend like him.

Our other friend Lisa, which Sehun said is in the classroom is true, she really is in the room. "Lalisa" I giggled like a little girl. The beautiful blonde haired girl looked up at me with a smile. "Annyeong dongsaeng" she said to me while I was seating next to her. Sehun sat behind us. Her and Sehun are already 18, that's why they call me dongsaeng.

"Hey I'm gonna introduce you guys to my new boyfriend" she said. She got up and walked towards the popukar kids. Me and Sehun exchange looks and I mouthed 'Is she crazy?'. He mouthed back 'I think so'. We turned to look back at our friend. Omo, don't tell me her new boyfriend is one of the kingkas.

She tapped Yoongi's shoulder, Yoongi smiled when he saw her. She whispered something to him then he nodded. They both walked over at us hand by hand. Me and Sehun's jaws dropped. Lisa grinned at us, "Uhm meet my new boyfriend Min Yoongi" she smiled sheepishly. Her and Yoongi both stared at each other lovingly.

But Sehun break their lovingly stares for eachother, "Annyeonghaseyo, Oh Sehun imnida" Sehun introduced himself while sticking out his hand, Lisa looked at me and gave me a look, I sighed. I dont really like socializing. I stood up and said, "Annyeonghaseyo, Han Song Jae imnida, but you can call me SongJae or Jae" I greeted then did what Sehun did earlier, we both shook hands. Lisa has a huge smile on her face.

Our English teacher walked in we greeted her, then class goes by. I was doodling on my notebook, when I heard the teacher call my name, I stood and asked for the question again, "What are the eight parts of speech in english?" She repeated.

"Noun, Pronoun, Adjective, Verb, Adverb, Conjunction, Preposition and Interjection" I said only in one breath, my classmates looked at me shocked, I sat back down on my seat. "Well that's correct Ms. Han seeing that you have an advanced average in English" My teacher said. It's true though, I got a 92 in my card last year, English is basic, just read some english pocket books or read a dictionary.

School ended and me and Sehun are going to go buy bubble tea, "Yah lets go Sehun-nie" I whined while pulling him back from the girl. We walked on the side of the road, "Yah you're such a flirt aren't you" I said while pulling his ear down, "Oww, yah that hurts SongJae" he said in pain while holding his ear, he looked at me, "Wae, are you jealous?" He said while smirking, damn that smirk.

I instantly blushed, "A-Ani, why would I?" I stuttered, shit why did I stutter. He got closer to me and I was sandwiched by him and the wall, "You sure? You're stuttering " he stated, I just nodded and pushed him.

He laughed, "Yah that wasn't funny " I pouted while hitting his chest. "We're here"  He said while dodging my puches, while laughing.
