Renee's POV
'Jeez I probably would have killed her if it was a regular day. All well. So what are we going to do today. Father gave me some human money so I could enjoy today. I'll start asking people questions during lunch.
Authors POV
Home room ended and everyone went to gym. Most of the girls got changed and all of the guys got changed. Today they had a free day since their teacher wasn't there. Most of the giros walked around the gym just talking. Until they saw Kendra,Renee,Sephora, Shanya, and Urijah playing basketball. The people that were going against them were some upper class men who thought they could be the "cool freshmens". Everyone that was originally on the court went to the bleachers and sat down to watch the game. Renee and Urijah were the only ones that could really make the baskets so the others were used for getting rebonds just and case they missed and also for a strong defense. The upper class men thought that they could win so they didn't put much effort into the game until they realized they were the only ones sweating.
Everyone on the bleachers were even more awestrucked by the freshmen that the started chanting and calling them "The Fresh Devils". They chose Fresh Devils because they thought that they were out of thus world but they didn't want to call them angels or aliens so they chose devils. Not wrong about that but hey. "The Fresh Devils" won the game 30 to nothing. They would have scored more if the upper class men didn't faint. When the game was over it was time for them to change back into their uniforms and head to their science class. Everyone that watched the game had recorded it so now everyone in the school even the middle schoolers knew about the Fresh Devils. Things were starting to get a little extreme but the group didn't care at all. They were just wondering what they would be doing today after school.
Class by class. The same routine every day, working in class, walking to the next but now its finally lunch time. Renee had separated from the group so that she could ask people what she could do in the middle of nowhere. (I forgot to mention. The cities name is called "Middle of Nowhere.) Many people was telling her that she could go to the festival that's today and tomorrow. They have arcade games and amusement park type rides. She thanked everyone she asked and went to her table with her group of friends. She was even more excited about later now. Renee and Urijah ate the lunch her father packed for them and chatted with everyone at the table. Kendra was sitting next to her boyfriend. His name is Grell.
Renee's POV
I thought it would be great if it was just the four of us but then Sephora and Shanya was involved with me. "Hey Sephora, Shanya do y'all have a boyfriend or a crush?" Sephora replies, "Why the sudden interest?" "I just wanted to know because I was hoping if you would like to go out with me,Urijah,Kendra and her boyfriend Grell." "Well we don't have a boyfriend but we do have crushes but I'm sorry to have to say this but we were gonna go out with my family since its my cousins birthday." "OK, thats fine but next time I'll tell you before I come up with anything so you two can tag along OK?" "Sure why not." I sit back down and finish eating my lunch. Since we had twenty minutes left of lunch I took a nap on Urijah's lap. I didnt want to put my head on the table since it had food and stuff all over it.
Urijah's POV
Renee had asked to lay on my lap so I just thought she was gonna take a nap, which she did. I should have told her to stay up because when she takes a nap its hard to wake her up. Sigh. "Renee wake up the bell is about to ring!" I yelled in her ear a couple more times but she just wouldn't wake up. Since she didn't want to wake up I took her head off of my lap and told Kendra to help me put her on my back. I walked her to our next class and sat her in her seat. The teacher asked, "Renee's not gonna wake up is she?" "No,not at all." "Sigh. Its okay she is a week ahead I wanted her to help the other students like she usually would. Just let her sleep until the bell rings." "Okay."
The class goes by without Renee waking up. I stick one of my hands in my pocket and pull out a piece of candy. I start to unwrap the candy when all of a sudden Renee wakes up and take it from me. "I guess you do only wake up when you hear someone about to eat candy." "Leave me alone. Let's go to our last class. We are supposed to be going to the library today." We walk to our history class room to see for certain if we would be going to the library. Good thing we were because if we weren't going to the library Renee would have went to sleep again. We walk back to go to the library and sit down at a computer. Renee had told me about the articles we would have to do during lunch so I could get ahead of the class. I did it during lunch so during class we watched some anime episodes. When the bell had rang Renee had signed out of her crunchy roll account and got up. We walked out the library and went to our locker. I didn't have a locker yet so I told a lady in the office that I could just share one. Come to find out I share one with Renee. When we walked outside we saw Kendra and Grell and walked over to them. By the time we got over there Sephora and Shanya came over to the group. We were planning on walking around until Sephora and Shanya had to leave but before we could even leave the school grounds, students from the middle section and high school section of the school just gathered around us trying to ask questions.
It looked like Renee was trying to keep a smile on her face but it seemed as though she was struggling. Kendra saw the same thing I saw and said in a calm voice, "Can everyone get away from us we have to do something today." Once they heard this they made a path for us to walk out of the circle. Renee seemed happy that Kendra did that. Once we were away from the school we parted ways with Sephora and Shanya. We went to Kendra's house so we could change out of our school uniform. For some reason everyone had something black to wear.
