After meeting ivan yao went back to his house and sat in his room. His father had excused him from work for the day since he belived their meeting had something to do with business. Even as Yao opened the door to the house he could feel his father's eyes on him. When Yaos father asked him what they had done, he had briefly said, "Ivan had talked vaguely about some Russian affairs other then that we had lunch." His father had only given him a nod and walked off to his office and dozens of calls.
Now all yao did was sit by his window, panda in his arms.
He hated and loved the moments like this. He loved them because Yao could finally be out of the eye of his father, his dad never went in Yaos room unless necessary, which was good since in these moments he would cry his eyes out. When he was alone all he could think of is the past. He could only think of his father's twisted mind and his siblings that he claimed he doesn't have. As the tears came on Yao slid to the floor, curled in a ball forgetting about the present. He kept his back to the door as he heard it open but he could not stop the tears. He heard the door close, and felt someone hug him from behind and start wipeing the tears on his cheek. "Who did this to you?" A familiar voice said gently . Yao just shook his head moving away from Ivan and continuing to weep. "Please i can't stand to see my sunflower cry..." Ivan pleaded while moving to face Yao and cradle him in his arms. "I have... siblings.." Yao said in between breaths. "I thought you said you didn't?" Ivan said in a calming voice. "I do... father made them go..." Yao said gasping. Ivan didn't ask anymore questions, he knew, it often happened in families like there's. The younger siblings were often pawned off for power while the oldest stayed to keep the father's legacy. Ivan simply held Yao, eventually taking his hand. Once Yaos tears slowed Yao spoke in a bitter tone , "why are you here anyway?"
"I came to see you, our father's are out for a meeting so my father dropped me off here." Ivan said looking outside. Yao nodded and followed Ivans eyes to see them looking out into the garden. "I'm sorry but your garden will never be as pretty as you, sunflower." Ivan said kissing Yaos head. Yao chuckled a bit and poked Ivan in the ribs. Ivan smiled and kissed Yao while smirking. "All of that is in the past now, we have the present and future to worry about..." Ivan said seriously. "I think we should only worry about the present now." Yao said kissing Ivan again.
