**Kay so this is my 1st story. I wrote it as a Creative Writting assignment. Don't 4get to comment**

Rosalie McAdams had been locked in a room for the last 8 years. Kidnapped at the age of 9, now 17 years old she was afraid of speaking to people, for she could not remember speaking to anyone other than those who had taken her.

She had been confined to darkness and solitude, so the idea of going into the sunlight and in the presence of all those children, frightened her terribly. She had been found by a private investigator hired by her parents only 2 months prior. She had not been physically injured over the years, but because she was not allowed to see people other than the kidnappers, she was traumatized from seeing so many people at once.

I thought being kidnapped was scary, Rosalie thought, boy was I wrong. In the eight years that she had gone missing, many things had changed. Not only did she not recognize anyone from her school, but the school itself had changed. The old building had been renovated and now looked like a medieval castle.

She recognized some of the people, barely. She did see a slight resemblance between these kids and the kids from her childhood. Suddenly a soccer ball rolled to her feet. She backed out of the light silently, not wanting to be heard. A young girl whom Kassya had been positive she had seen before appeared to retrieve the ball.

The girl screamed when she saw Rosalie hiding. After what seemed like days, the girl composed herself and introduced herself as Katryna. Rosalie wanted to say something.

"I think I have seen you before" said Katryna.

"Um, my name is Ro-Rosalie." She said nervously.

"Wait? Did you say Rosalie?" said Katryna, overjoyed, when Rosalie nodded. "Oh My Lord, Rosalie, I thought you were dead. Where have you been for the last 8 years?"

Rosalie did not know whether she could tell Katryna that she had been kidnapped, or not. She decided not to, for she did not yet feel comfortable and open with her.

"I've been, umm, out of the country" lied Rosalie. She had never been capable of lying. To her surprise Katryna didn't argue with her and offered to re-introduce her to everybody.
