Allison's P. O. V:

'Alli.....' a soft voice spoke up in the dark room.  I shifted a little and weighed my options of waking up peacefully or engaging in world war III.

Sadly,  it's always the second option.

Right on cue a loud 'YAH WAKE UP.'  was heard before something heavy and hairy flopped on me. No it wasn't our adorable-non-existing dog or a cute Teddy bear.  It was my older sister and currently her foot was dangerously close to my mouth....  Way too close for my hygienic comfort.

I swear my sister is the true devil my mother has made me learn prayers against so that God can protect me.

I pushed her off, not really phased. Believe me this is not the worse way to be woken up in the Mathew's household.  George once woke me up by shoving a frog in my face that he caught in the backyard.

I stumbled in the shower and locked the door before leaning against it. You'd think after 14 years of constantly waking up early I'd have gotten used to it but the long school day looming ahead of me was still just as traumatising.

I glared at my mirror as I gazed upon my nest of unruly hair.  Winter's were fast approaching and my hair was getting dryer and bits of it stood out. My hair's naturally straight.  That makes it 10 times more easier to tame but unfortunately I am not worthy of looking after a grape let alone myself.

Fortunately,  the world has invented beautiful Creations under the name of  'head covers'.

God bless the inventors.

It never takes long to get ready when you don't have to fix your hair.  I was out in 20 minutes max with a peanut butter sandwich.  Bless my mother,  she always forgets that I'm allergic to nuts....

It took me less then fifteen minutes to reach the gates of Lincoln high. I sighed and squared my shoulders before entering hel-school.

Call me dramatic but this is a building full of fake dramas and loud boastful swaggy boys,  mystery 'meatloaf'  and maths.

I'm not even halfway towards my locker when a group of loud obnoxious teenagers throw themselves at me. Literally. I stumbled before straightening up and turning to glare at them. But I relaxed as I recognised the goofballs as my best friends.

There are five of us.  First there's Toby.  Tall football player,  goofy and loved by everyone who didn't have an attitude.  He's also one of the heartthrobs of our school but unlike the others he's actually a decent human.

Next was Madeline Frances Kenneth. Maddie for short. She came from a very rich and posh family.  Despite her very girly name and her posh background she acted....  Normal.  She liked music,  books and swimming.  She also had the most amazing ability to turn everything sexual....

The third person is the youngest one.  Liza was the shortest but her temper had everyone terrified.  She's sarcastic and sassy and could insult you all the way to narnia if you ever messed with her or with the people she loved.  She's also the only one who actually had decent grades.  She still terrifies me sometimes to be honest.

Then there's Dean. He's a shy person with a hyena laugh. He's the mom of the group really.  He gives the best advice and always has extra money in case the rest of us forgets.  He's a bit of a nerd and the only time be gets aggressive is when he's gaming. He's also the only one of us who doesn't constantly curse.  He was the first friend I made in this school,  simply bonding over the fact that we both were Muslims.

And finally, there's me.  I'm interested in basketball,  writing and music.  I'm an extrovert who likes their privacy but also loves hanging out with others. I get in trouble often because I don't have a filter between my brain and my mouth and my tongue just spits out angry words which always have me end up in detention (which is actually where me and liza bonded) And I'm proud of my naturally tanned skin and religious status.
