Three Years Later ... (Lauren POV)
One year later and my life has change a whole lot. I now have a 3 year old daughter named Aaliyah, she is my world. Her hair is braided down her back. She has ocean blue eyes with a hint of hazel green. She's two shades from clear, a yellow baby just like her momma. They found the guy who raped me and sentenced him to 4 years. I know right bull shit, they should lock his ass up and never let him out so he can't do this to anymore girls, turns out her did it to more than 40 girls. I moved from Atlanta, Georgia to Chicago, Illinois
. I live in a two bedroom house. Its not in the best neighborhood or the best looking but, its decent on the inside. I don't have much but I make sure my baby girl has everything.

Its 4:OO and i'm just now getting off work. I work in a clothing store in the 'nice part' of town. I go home and start dinner and make Aaliyahs food for her. I put everything in the mircrowave and drove to the day care for my little baby girl.

I finally pull into the parking space infront of the door of the small building. I walk inside and Ms.Camebridge sees me. Hi there honey bun, i'll call Aaliyah right down for you." She said in a preppy voice. I heard her call Aaliyahs teacher and I sat down to wait. "Mommy !" I heard Aaliyah say."Hey momma's baby ! how was your day?" I cooed at my little angel as I walked to the car. Tommy kissed me on the cheek mommy, I said ewwww and wiped it off" Aaliyah told me. The whole ride home she told me about her day.
****************************************** After I fed Aaliyah and got her bathed and teeth brush I read her, her favorite book, Rapunzel. She fell asleep in the middle like she always does. I kissed her cheek prayed over here and went to clean the kitchen. When I was done I got ready for bed and made a mental note to talk to Tommy's father.
