Wait? What?!

Today is Sunday so I was given the day off. I woke up, took a shower, and got dressed. I was pulling on my white toms when I heard my phone vibrate. I unlocked it to see that Sara had texted me.

Sara: come over now!! it's urgent!!!

Me: ok ok ok ill be there in a bit.

That worried me. Sara has never said anything was urgent. She had always put things aside and didn't care about them.

I put my hair in a bun and grabbed my phone and keys. I walked outside and into Sara's house. when I walked in I heard crying coming from the bathroom. 'that's weird' I thought. 'Sara never cries'.

"SARA?!" I yelled. "UP HERE!" she managed to yell back in between sobs.

I ran upstairs and into the bathroom. there I found Sara crying. "what happend?" I asked. "its JC." she replied. My heart dropped. 'JC?' I thought to myself 'what happened to JC!' I asked my self. "What's wrong with JC?" I asked choking on my own words. "he got into a bad car accident." she said in between tears.

I burst into tears then. Jc is my best friend. He's my world. He's always been there for me. All of these thoughts came to me suddenly.

"Come on get in my car." I said with a sick feeling in my stomach. "where are we going?" Sara asked "I have to see him!" I said. "I can't go." Sara said. "why not?" I asked. "I have to go see Leo." she replied. "what is wrong with you? our best friend is in the hospital! possibly dieing! and you are more worried about your boyfriend!" I snapped at her. " well I'm sorry that I actually have someone who loves me!" she yelled back. I felt like I was going to be sick. those words broke my heart. they hurt really bad. Maybe she's right. maybe I am alone in life. i thought to my self. "Mel, I'm so sorry. you know I didn't mean it." she said looking worried. I didn't reply, I ran to my car as fast at I could. I drove to the hospital and asked the lady at the desk where Jc was. she gave me his room number and I started looking. after a while I found his room. I walked Inside and immediately ran to the bathroom. I threw up alot. Mostly from what Sara had said but mostly because of how Jc looked. he had so many bruises on his face. he had lots of tubes And wires connected all over his body. He looked dead. the doctor walked in and started writing on his clipboard. "is he going to be ok?" I asked. "its hard to say. he's so badly hurt and he might have brain damage. but right now he's in a coma and I don't know when or if he will wake up." the doctor explained. after the doctor left I got a text from Harry.

Harry: sorry I haven't texted you all day, but I'm in the hospital :/ . I got in an accident and broke my arm.

Me: it's ok and I'm at the hospital now. what room are you in?

Harry: 333

Me: ok be there right now.

I walked in Harry's room and saw him watching tv. "hey Mel." he said smiling. "hey." I replied. after a few hours of talking and laughing about the randomest things ever, Harry got very serious all of a sudden. " so Mel, I was wondering...." He trailed off.

"Wondering about what?" I asked

"Realized that I can't live without you." he said.

" Wait? what! " I asked

" After today will I be able to call you mine?"

" Of course!" I reply.

And with that we kiss. it feels like we are the only people in the world. and I feel the sparks.
