Hello BraveFans!

I'm making a story about Merida after her beartastic adventure with her mom. I couldn't think any better but let my imaginative ideas flow as I write them. To be honest, I wouldn't be writing this story if I haven't realized those loving sacrifice my mom did for me. My mom gave me great inspiration for this one. She inspired me to cherish and appreciate those little but great things. If you think you are unloved and left to be alone by your mom, then you're wrong. She is doing this for your own good and your bright future. 'Mothers will love their children, no matter what.' I'm glad that my mom's lecturing me from my mistakes. She thought me many wonderful things in life. I'm lucky to have a great, beautiful mother like her. This book is dedicated to my wonderful parents. Thank You for your loving support you gave me over those amazing years.

To Brave fans, I would like to thank you for your fervent support on reading those other versions of Brave books. I'm sure that you are expecting a lot from this book. I'll be doing my best to met up your expectations and to enjoy this book, as well. I'll do whatever it takes to make this book worth-reading. I'll be adding new characters, places and even new events. The other chapters will be coming soon. Hoping for your kind support and patience and we'll meet again soon!

Chapter 1: The Princess and the Legendary Black Archer (Part 1 - 2)

I am Merida, princess of Dunbroch, and I am going to shoot.... for today's target practice. Clearing her head with excitement. "Let's go Angus, as another new day awaits ahead of us." Merida said with an alluring voice.

"What do you want, Angus?" She asked. Nghh!!! "Okay, come on. I'll get you something to eat. I'll be back." She told to her hungry horse. She hurried as she went off to find some food to feed her horse.

"Maudie! Where are you?" She said while calling someone's attention. While looking for Maudie, she heard a screech of noise at the kitchen. What's that? She said to herself as the atmosphere got more intense as she took step by step. "Maudie...?" She said with a troubling voice, in a sudden moment, a creature appeared out of nowhere. Ahhhhhhhh! She screamed. By the time, creature come into the light. It was her 3 mischievous little brothers. She became furious to her 3 little siblings after realizing that the silly little prank was for all for her.

"Boys? You were the creature..which I ...? Oh! Just wait until I get my hands on the three of you!" She took a mallet as she went off to chase her naughty siblings. With her chasing the boys, they reached the throne room in suprise.

Merida?! What do you think you are doing to your little brothers? The Queen took it off as an insult from Merida, her daughter. "But Mum, they started it!" She said with her raising voice while trying to prove her innocence.

"No, BUTs, Merida! Remember: A princess does not raise her voice." She said, trying to remind her once again.

"Fergus, can you please help me disciplining our children?" She said, asking help from her husband. "Children, you shouldn't be... I.... uhm...." Fergus said unsurely to his children. Elinor sighed with embarrassment and disappointment as she interrupted Fergus' unsure words. "Children, to your rooms, now. Think and reflect of what you did just now." She said calmly towards her children. And the children left the throne room with straight faces.

~Meanwhile in Merida's Room~

"Ugh! I'm not supposed to be here, in my room, doing nothing or useless things. I'm supposed to be with Angus right now, doing my target practice." She mumbled as she complains to herself.

She looked through the window as a raindrop started to fall in sight. The dark clouds started to gather themselves. Merida felt the cold through the heavy rain, she tried to snuggle herself through the heat given by the heater. "I guess today is not a lucky day for me then." She yawned and closed her eyes in her soft and comfy bed.

"Today's the day, Angus!" She said as she jumped with excitement. She hopped on her horse's back and rode out to the castle. "The Dunbroch's traditional celebration." She explained thoroughly about the Kingdom's tradition even it is celebrated yearly.

"However this is the only year that the archers , like me, who will participate and win this year's grand prize, a spell that make your greatest desire come true, isn't that wonderful?" She arrived the town upon saying those words.

Merida looked around the town's decorations. The colors were vibrant, as if it there was a grand festival. It was eye-catching, attractive, so beautiful. It looked like a festival in many ransom ways.

A few hours have past and the competition of the greatest archers gathered as they fight for the grand prize of this year's competition.

Merida was there too, she competed as a hard as she can. Expectedly, she advanced through the semifinals.

One of her fellow competitors, from a faraway kingdom, was known as the Legendary Black Archer. The legend says that no one has ever beaten the Legendary Black Archer when it comes to archery and people said that no one knew who he really was.

Merida won her way to the finals and it seems that it's going to be hard for her to win the competition since her opponent was hard-to-beat.

But it didn't stop her from fighting back. She was consistent, reckless, agressive, brave, carefree and compassionate on her dream and she has the willpower to stand up for herself.

"I don't care how long this competition will go. I'll beat that "Legendary" whinny lad even if it kills me" She taunted while clenching her rough fist.
