"What in the hell are you talking about?" i ask with a bit of humor laced in my question.
"What everyone who actually cares about movies is talking about!" Shyane tells me
i wasn't really into movies all that much so when Shyane would start ranting on and on about a movie i would tune her out and let her rant. Oh yeah by the way I'm Nicole and obviously that is Shyane we are sitting in luna's living room while she's in the kitchen getting some snacks and drinks for our mini party which includes just us three as far as i know.
"Shyane..." i cut her off mid sentence of her continuous rant about how bad a movie i have no idea what its called and i really don't care
"i love you sweetie, but just shut your mouth already please" i say standing up and walking to the kitchen to help luna.
"hey luna... got any duct tape? we may need it, you know just in case" i say as i enter the kitchen
"haha very funny" Shyane says following me into the kitchen, grabbing an oreo then jumping up onto the counter top. Luna chuckles at us while she finishes up the cookies she was baking.
"is anybody else coming?" i asked luna, she shook her head and responded
"actually... i believe Justin and a few others but i think that's it"
"ooooo Justin" Shyane teased with a smirk on her face.
"Shyane" i warned before she could say anything else that was going through her twisted little mind.
"aww come on nicole, you know you like him... just admit it already!" Shyane states while jumping off the counter and walking past me back into the living room.
"i don't like him, so lets leave it at that... luna what else do we gotta get ready?" i respond to try and change the subject, but truth is i have had a crush on him since about seventh grade. Justin was the type of person who a lot of girls wanted but he stayed single. in your casual clique story where all the girls want the bad boy while he has his one night stands every night of the week. This was quite a bit off, Justin is the type if in a relationship he is loyal, he has an amazing personality, beautiful smile, nice eyes, and is just gorgeous all around.
"Nicole!" Luna snapped me out of my day dream trying to give me a plate of cookies and some kool-aid.
"bring these to the living room please?" luna asked i just nodded slightly taking the cookies and kool-aid out of her hands and walking back to the living room to find Justin and a few of his friends talking to Shyane. I set the snacks on the table and they all look towards me, i smiled at them and started walking back to the kitchen until i felt a hand grab my wrist.
