"Mommy, mommy!" Maya said.
"Yes dear?" Maya's mother replied.
"I'm ready to carve the pumpkin." Maya said. "Okay sweetie, go see daddy in the kitchen and I will be there shortly." Her Mother replied again.
So Maya walked over to the kitchen and peeked into it. She saw her dad carving his own pumpkin. She slowly walked in, seeing the shiny blade go in and out of the pumpkin. Her dad didn't see her and she sat across from him. "Daddy, why are you hurting the pumpkin?" Maya asked. "We have been over this, it's not hurt. It likes when we make it beautiful." Her dad said. "That's creepy." Maya said, for she was only 6. "So what's up kiddo? Want me to help carve your pumpkin?" Her dad asked. "Yep. Mommy will be here soon." Maya said. Just then her mother walked in with a sharp knife. "Hi mommy! Are you ready?" Maya asked. "Yes darling." Her mother said. So they all sat down and the mother helped Maya carve the pumpkin. Maya then realized, that she is holding a knife to the pumpkin. Her face went pale. She pulled the knife away quickly, scaring her mother. "Mommy, don't force me to do this." Maya said in a distorted way. "Maya. It's fine. The pumpkin wants you to make it beautiful." Her mother said. "No. No. I won't. Pumpkins are the only thing that we have right now and I wanna keep at least one." Maya said, as a year ran down her cheek. "What? Maya, that's not true. Now you are talking nonsense." Maya's father said. So Maya skipped pumpkin related things during the whole month of October and until she was 10. That October would be different. Maya's parents promised not to carve pumpkins until she was over this phrase. It was exactly 2:30 at night and Maya heard some noise from downstairs. She walked down and saw her parents carving pumpkins at the table. She slowly backed away, then she ran upstairs. She was so mad. "They lied to me. They lied to me." She chanted over and over. She grabbed a machete and walked downstairs. She was completely insane and then she hid until her parents came to check on her. Maya's plan was that since she sleeps in the sound proof attic, Maya will lure them up there, close the door, and strike. "Okay hun, I'm going to check on Maya. Be right back." Maya's mom said. "I will come too. I don't like to be alone on Halloween." Her dad added on. So they went up the stairs and walked into Maya's room. "Mom. Dad. What did I say?" Maya said closing the door behind her. "Maya! You scared me child." Her mother said. "Is that a machete?" Her father asked. "Hmmm? Ah. Yes it is. I found it." Maya said. "Oh child you shouldn't have that. It is dangerous." They both hinted. Maya then set it down and tied her parents to the wall. "Maya! Please, what are you doing?" Her mother begged for an answer. "Hush my parents. Just to let you know, this is betrayal." Maya giggled. Maya brutally attacked her mother and father with her machete. "Betrayal is pain, right? They did nothing. NOTHING." Maya yelled. She ran downstairs and ran out to the woods. She fell over and heard her arm snap. She screamed. She then stood up and walked into the woods when the tall man appeared. He had no face, and wore a suit. He took Maya's hand and saw she was injured. Then she woke up is a house, on a blow up mattress. Her arm was in a cast, and she had a handmade tie on. "Hi! I'm Sally! I made you that tie by the way." Sally said. "It's cute, thank you. Where am I?" Maya said, trying to keep her cool. "You are home." Sally said. "Mr. slendyman brought you here."And that is how it began. The end~
