The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane

Chapter one

In A home of a rich family,
There lived a China doll rabbit and her little girl owner Abilene. Abilene Loved Edward Tulane, the rabbit.

Edward had a little pocket watch in his tiny little pocket in his orange clothes. It was a gold pocket watch. He had convert able ears.

In dinner, Abilene put Edward in her lap. Edwards nose touched the edge of the table. He stared at the marvelous food sitting on the table. He stared with is blue sky eyes.

At night, A servant named "Pelagrina", Told Abilene and Edward a story. Edward hated everyone and only cared about him.

So, she told the story with a deep voice.

"Once upon a time, there lived a princess who hated everything. Everyone loved her and wanted to marry her. Then a prince came up to her and gave her a ring. Suddenly, She took the ring and swallowed it whole! She ran in the deepest part of the woods. Everyone tried to find her,but it was impossible! The princess ran until she came upon a witches house. She knocked on the door as loud as she possibly could.
"Open up I'm cold!" She demanded. Then, the door squeakily went open. The princess went in and saw a with casting a spell.
" Do you love someone?" The witch asked.
"Certainly not! I will NEVER EVER love someone EVER!" The princess said tremendously. " we'll then, you are a hater" the witch said. Then she waved her wand and turned the princess into a warthog! The princess ran outside and left the house of the witch. Then when the Soldiers that went looking for the princess saw the warthog and killed it! The chief cooked it and when he did, he found a ring in its stomach! So, he wore the ring.
The end"

"Goodnight" Pelagrina said.

Then, she went over to Edward and said " You disappoint me."

Of course, Abilene did not hear. So, she fell deep asleep in her cozy bed.

Edward had his own little bed. He loves it when he looks threw the open window and see the stars. He like seeing the Big Dipper if it's there and he pretends there's a constellation in the stars making a shape of a bear. Then he would fall deeply asleep with the snoring of Abilene.

The next morning,
Abilene had to go to school. She got dressed and set Edward in a small chair.

"When the big hand on the clock his the number six and and the small hand goes to Three, I will be here" Abilene said.

Then she put Edward golden pocket watch in his small pocket in his small orange clothes.

Then she left to school with her mom and her dad went to work.

So, Edward waited and waited and waited sitting in the wooden chair.

Finally he saw his clock and it was exactly what Abilene said. The bid hand on the clock was on the six and the small hand was on the three. Then, the door burst open and out came Abilene and her mom.

" I'm home, Edward, I'm here for you" said Abilene.

She took him and put him in another chair and went upstairs in her moms room to do homework.

Then, Buster, Abilene's dog, came in and saw Edward. He took Edward by his feet and shook him with saliva dripping down Busters chin.He shook him hard and finally set him down and ran.

When Pelagrina came and saw Edward on the floor, she took him and went upstairs and squished him in a shelf of books.

His knees were on his chins and was jointed.

When Abilene was finished, she went downstairs to get Edward. But Edward was not on the chair he was supposed to be in. She looked everywhere for him, but couldn't find him. Heavy rain from her eyes splashed down. She sat down with her arms around her head and head down and whimpered hard.

Pelagrina came downstairs to cook dinner.
She saw Abilene, then turned away with no heap of attention.

At dinner, They ate without Edward on Abilene's lap. Abilene ate quietly and drank softly. She gulped it all down carefully and sat down sadly.

" What's wrong, Abilene?" the mom asked.

" I don't know where Edward is" Abilene said softly.

" We'll find him" The mom said.

"Promise" Abilene said.

"I promise" The mom said back.

When they finished dinner, Abilene went upstairs to get out a book from her shelf to read. Suddently, Edward fell out, head first on the floor.

"Edward!" Abilene shouted.

Then, it was time to go to bed, So,Abilene placed Edward in his small bed. Then, Pelagrina tucked in Abilene in her bed.

" Can you tell us a story?" Abilene asked.

"Not tonight" Peligrina said back.

Then Abilene went to bed cozy and tonight Edward was not tilted right to see the stars outside, he was facing the white roof instead. He still fell asleep in his cozy little bed.
