Chapter 8

---------- In another universe ----------

Marine stepped in the laboratory lab. "Crash? Are you there?" She didn't notice that Crash was standing beside her.

" Yes? So , did you find her there?"

" Oh my god! You barely scared me, Crash! " Marine turned to him while her palm was still on her heart after being shocked.

" Oh, sorry..." Crash bowed at her as a sign for apologies. " By the way, did you find her? "

"Yeah, she was with Harris, too. "

"Is that Harris looked the same as our Harris? " Crash asked with a curious look.

"Oh, don't give me that look." Marine crossed her arm and turned her gaze to the environment of the lab. There was a set of an experiment on the counter.

"Please?"

"Okay, okay... He was the same as our Harris. But he looked more acquiescent. " Marine answered while staring at the experiment on the counter.

"I see... My son is always obedient. He is not now, maybe because he is still growing."

"Ya ya, but Crash? What experiment are you doing?"

Crash walked towards the counter and observed the experiment. "You're here just the right time. I was about to explain to you how to transfer the other Jenna here. "

"Thanks Crash. But even though she has the same face as our Jenna, but I still felt very bad."

"You can change your mind too, if you care about her family there. Her family would be worried if u transfer their daughter here."

"But I miss Jenna...." Marine sniffed as her tears started dropping down just a minute ago. "I remembered how she died..."

~~~~~~~~ Flashback ~~~~~~~~~
That day at University Green Pearl, Jenna walked down the footsteps to the zebra crossing line. Just when she walked across it, a car drove towards her like a bolt of lightning and she fell to the ground.
Just a few seconds ago, Harris was about to pull Jenna back from the road but someone crashed into him. By the time he stood up and saw what had happened, it was too late. He then carried her to the hospital.
--------------------------------------------
"Don't be sad, I will try my best to help you. My son, Harris, he was still locking himself inside his room without taking any meals except for one spoonful of porridge. " Crash sighed, shaking his head.
"You, too. " Marine gave him a small smile. "But luckily you knew the other universe would happen the same thing, so you sent me to save their Jenna."
"It's my job." Crash smiled. He was still observing his experiment.
"Then, should I tell Jenna's parents first? About Jenna's doppelgänger that would be transferred here soon." Marine asked.
"Maybe later. They need time to accept Jenna's death, I assume. " Crash answered in a low tempered voice.
"Okay."
"Anyway, my experiment succeeded!" he cheered as he pulled Marine to the counter where the experiment located.
On the counter, there were lots of electrical stuffs and a huge glass. The glass was placed in between two small electrical box that contained many wires. Black, blue and red wires were inside the box. The wires on the both sides, were attached to the glass, which looks like some kind of a transparent door.
"So, what's this?" Marine asked as she turned to Crash.
"This is the door to the other universe." He chuckled.
"But we already had one in the street over there."
"Yeah, but this door is for Jenna to crossed over. So, we must transfer it to that door we used." He said while chewing a candy.
"But how?"
"Wait, let me think.... " Crash sat on the stool nearby and started to ponder in his mind map world.
---------------------------------------------
Few hours later, Marine came back from Jenna's home. " Are you done, Crash? "
"Wait...wait a minute." Crash mumbled and continued pondering in his mind map world...
---------- The main universe -----------
"Jenna, are you done?" Harris blurted in front of Jenna's door.
"Wait......" Jenna called from her room. She closed the last luggage bag and walked to the mirror. She could see the reflection of her wearing blue jeans, pink tank top with a purple hoodie, and a pair of blue Converse. After satisfying with her clothing, she then pulled her luggage bag to the door and opened it.
"Finally you're done, little princess." Harris laughed.
Jenna shot him a glare. They walked down the hallway and down the stairs. Aunt Andrea was already waiting for them on the driveway. As Jenna was about to open the main door, the car honked. "Faster, Harris."
Harris jogged out from the kitchen, holding a box of coco crunch and two bottles of water. "Okay, let's go!"
They locked the door and took their luggages to the car. Jenna and Harris jumped on the back seat of the car.
"Jenna, when are you coming back?" Aunt Andrea asked as she pulled off the driveway.
"After holidays. I still need to study, remember? And Harris too."
"Okay, just let me know when you reach here on that day."
"Sure."
The car passed by 'Hogwarts Residency' and into the busy street. "Hey, are we going to find your father later?" Jenna whispered to Harris. He didn't hear, continue listening to songs on his headphone.
Jenna shook his shoulder. He pulled off his headphones and turned to Jenna with a what's-wrong-look.
"Are we going to find your father, Crash , later? " Jenna whispered again.
"Yeah, in Northway city. He has a science lab there inside a university."
"I can't wait!" Jenna cheered as she was excited.
"Can't wait what?" aunt Andrea asked as she heard the cheer.
"Nothing, aunt. " Jenna smiled back. Harris chuckled. Jenna shot him a glare again as she realized it.
"Take some rest, dear. We would be there in about four to five hours, so it would be long if there is a traffic jam." Aunt Andrea said while concentrating on the cars in front.
"I'm sleeping, aunt Andrea." Jenna answered softly.
"Okay."
-------At Atasia Railway Station-------"
"Bye, aunt. Take care!" Jenna and Harris waved goodbye to aunt Andrea before going up the train.
"Choo...choo" the train to Northway city was chugging along the railway. Harris and Jenna found two empty seats and sat down. Harris was still listening to pop songs.
Jenna took out a scarf from her bag and wrapped it around her neck. She had chosen the seat next to the window so that she could lean against it while sleeping. Jenna looked out the window, thinking of her parents. Soon, she fell asleep.
~~~~~~~ Jenna ~~~~~~~

The dream that I had everyday still occurred whenever I closed my eyes. I knew that I'm in the same dream now. Why would this dream keep repeating in my brain? Would it be real one day later?
