Kirigiri's P.O.V
It's the end of the first day of school in 10th grade for me. It was different, and perhaps better than any first day of school I ever had. I got to bond with Makoto Naegi. He was always nice and sweet on the small talks we had last year. It was always something like "Hey can you borrow me a pencil?". Now that turned into "Hey, do you want to have coffee?". I don't know what happened to me at that moment, but I suddenly started to blush. As soon as I noticed that, I quickly excused myself to go to the bathroom. When I looked at the mirror, I was redder than Asahina's jacket. Well, maybe I was not that red. I'm pale, so any different, slightly, shaded, color would appear on my skin. I hope he didn't notice(He did blush a lot more tho).
I walked through the silent halls, only hearing the sound of my boots clocking with a slight echo. This silence means class had started...And I was late. I tried walking and running at the same time, to get to class sooner. Great start to cause a good impression to your new teacher, Kirigiri.
As I finally reached the door, I opened it to find my classmates and my new teacher. They all started staring at me once they heard the creeky sound the door had made. "Are you excused by the principal(Aka my dad)?" The teacher says."Um, no. I'm sorry. I lost track of time, it won't happen again." I respond, facing down and looking at the small crack on the white-grided floor. "Since it is the first day of school, I will let it pass. But if it happens again, you will need to face the consenquences." She responds, taking that serious look on her face with a simple smile. "You can sit down on the back row, next to Yamada and Hagakure. She says, noticing I was looking around class for a seat. I nodded my head. "Great..." I murmur to myself with a dissapointing look on my face.
Really? Hagakure and Yamada? The only prize the both are competing in is who's the most anti-social(Maybe Fukawa also but she's actually pretty nice)? Hagakure repeated 9th grade 3 TIMES. THREE. Trust me, a orange is bigger than his brain. And Yamada is pretty much a weird fantasy pro. He probably thinks that talking about Hentai is a good way to cause a good impression or to be social.
I was about to sit down next to them, when Naegi standed up, and came up to where I was sitting down. "I'll sit down over here, and you can sit down on my desk. It's o-okay, I can tolerate them for an hour!" Naegi says, rubbing his hand behind his neck, and forming a sweet, cute, smile. "Oh okay then... Thank you Naegi, you are really sweet." I respond, getting my books out of the desk. "N-no problem!" He answers, clearly blushing.
I got my books out of the desk, and walked to his desk. After that, the class started singing the famous sitting on a tree little song, with his name and my name inserted. A really childish act, but can be a little funny when it isn't you.
As I sitted down on m-well, Naegi's desk, I neatly tided my books up on top of the desk. A few minutes after class had started, I looked at Naegi, and found him getting tortured by Hagakure's dumbness and Yamada's dirty mind. Then he saw me. I didn't panic, but he did. He started to fake he was okay with a weird smile, but I knew he was trying to look sweet. I feel horrible for letting him sit there. He doesn't deserve this torture. He's so nice. I silently mouthed "Are you okay?". He compreehended what I ment, and then nodded as an answer to my question.
Towards that recent event, I tried to forget it, and pay attention to what the teacher was explaining. It didn't really work.
After class, I walked towards the door and waited for Naegi. "Hey" I say once I see him coming out of class. He jumped a little, I apparently scared him. "Oh God you are sneaky" he answers, chuckling a little. "Sorry Naegi. Anyways, thank you for being so sweet to me. I'm sorry for the torture, I really shouldn't have let you take my seat." I respond. "No! No, it's okay, you did need to let me take your place, it was pretty bad over there... Well, no problem Kirigiri, I hope I helped!" Naegi responds sweetly. Well, he is sweet. "Yes, you did help a lot, thank you, again. But if you knew it was going to be that bad, then why did you take the seat?" I say, questioning his decision. "Well, I don't like seeing people I like suffering!" He answers, with a cute soft, and perhaps adorable smile. "Oh, that's nice to hear, I could say I'm flattered...Anyways, I need to pass you my number. Can I?" "Oh yeah! S-Sure! Let me just get a pen and a paper..."He says, starting to look for a pen and a piece of paper. He took a really long time, so I just got one pen and one piece of paper from my bag and wrote my number. "Here you go. Call me after 5pm, I have to work at the police station a little." I say, looking right into his green-hazel-ish, eyes. "Oh...Okay. Sorry for being kind of slow, I'm a messy person." He replies, smiling again. It's surprising to me how a person can smile so much. Not that it's bad, it's actually nice. It passes a good, happy, vibe. I like that about him.
