Its the first day of school I'm officially a ninth grader me and my best friend Bailey we been best friends since we could talk and I come form a single parent home me and my mom we live in this little apartment where she works at a cafe me and my friends go to all the time its our hang out spot let me stop explaining and get to the story
I rolled of my bed at the sound of my alarm I was so excited to process what was going on right now it was officially the first day of my high school career
After taking my shower I put on my outfit I had picked out the night before I left my hair out fixing my curls added a little water I went downstairs and told my mom good bye and wenton my way

"Wow highschool" Says Lucas ( lacus has been me and Bailey's best friend since 1st grade it was always us 3 until he got a girl friend Sarah in the 7th grade and she absolutely hates me and Bailey but Lucas loves her so we put up with her.)
"I know .... I already don't like it" Josh says ( I really like Josh since he moved here in the 7th grade we've been friends every since I never told anybody how I felt about him not even Bailey my best friend only cause I think she likes him to.?)
"All these new people ... oh my gosh their so big and older ... im scared" said Bailey ( she's really goofy and childish but thats what we all love about her.)
"Come on it's just like middle school but bigger" says Scott (he's Josh best friend they both moved her at the same time we've been friends with him too.)
"Guys people are staring come on" I said ( Im the girl nobody notices outta the group im 5'5 im the shortest out of everyone no im not the popular one in funny sometimes and im not the pretty one Im the unnoticeable one.)
We walk inside and it was definitely bigger than middle school and a lot more people cuter guys and meaner girls
"Nope still don't like it" says Josh shaking his head
"Josh its not that bad just more people" I said gesturing to the all the people walking around
"I know jess that's why I don't like it" that's his nickname he called me I think he says it just to annoy me but I actually like it but I don't tell him that
"Alright Texas ruby ... Bay come on let's go to our lockers" I say pulling her towards our lockers we got our lockers together so we wouldn't separate
As the first bell rung we all went off to class I had first period biology with Bay, Lucas, and Josh Scott was on his own and Sarah too thank God she didn't have our class
I say next to Josh of course and Lucas and Bay sat next to each other perfect arrangement for me
As the class went on I really didn't bother to focus cause its the first day of school what were we learning the rules
~Skipping to lunch~
I got out of the lunch line looking for my friends wow this is a big lunch room as I walked past people were staring at me so I walked faster until I spotted my friends I guess you do get noticed in high school
"Jess why do you looked so lost.?" Josh says with a smile
"I was looking for you guys ... Bay why didn't you wait for me.?" I say turning to her
"Oh ... my bad I was talking to a few people I guess I forgot ... sorry I'll wait for you next time." She says taking a bite of her sandwich
"Okay ... you made some new friends already.?" I say in excitement
