A Fox Spirit

I opened my eyes . I'm in a chair . 2 chairs in front of me . Everything else is dark . A light is shining on the three chairs and nothing else.

On top of the two chairs are a Fox and a person who looks like half a human and half a fox . The fox person has fox ears , a fox tail and her claws are quite long .

They both look at me . Then they start talking to each other .

(When the fox speaks the writing is like this , when the human-fox speaks the writing is like this , it may be confusing sorry .)

" So I was wondering why haven't I been able to be in control , in a long time , I haven't even spoken to my mate ?"

" Well maybe it's because I had to be in control , there were so many wolves , witches vampires. It was way too much ."

"Well the problem is fixed so it's my turn to take control ."

"Okay but remember don't just run to our soul mate immediately after you wake up ".

The fox and the fox-human girl then face me .

"Hi how are you ? I'm Ruby . "

It is quite strange seeing a fox talk .

" You'll get used to it , and yes we share a mind so we know what you're thinking of , always . My name is Lily ."

"So how long have I been asleep ?"

"Only 3 days , our mate hasn't left our side since we fainted , I can still feel his presence."

Awww mate likes us .

" Wait were you with me all this time ?"

"Kind off . We were in your mind since the beginning. I gave you the idea of escaping the orphanage, and helped you get all organized."

Oh well that was important. I remember like it was yesterday.

Memory time :

I grabbed my hoody . I was getting too close to being discovered. I was packing my bags .

The rain outside my window making me rush more every second.

I look at the mirror .

I tie my hair backwards into a high pony tail .

I grab my hoodie and pull it over my head .

Suddenly loud thunder makes me jump high and then land on the wooden floor .

I look out my window and I see the rain go down the window. A flash of light appeared in front of me . Lightning.

I climb out of my window , my room was on the first floor , and I run off into the night .

Rain poring down on me .

A few days later . I looked at the newspapers and only saw one article saying they would like to find someone who had disappeared, me , except they didn't even say my name or describe me , well if you do that then that's just a waste of money. After than no other article was about me .

Now in my mind when I am unconscious and my mate is with me :

"Ah memories. So are you going to wake up and let me talk to mate or are you going to let Lily and me here turn into a normal fox spirit?"

"Look dear we are actually just one spirit . We just had to separate to beat them."

Ohh cool.

Second choice.

Both fox and fox person stand up . They then look at each other and speak a strange language . Then they put their hands together and a light shines ...

The light blinds me . After 10 minutes my eyes are normal and I see Zane . He's half asleep . I then speak in my mind and ask if  the transformation worked .

I get no response .

I then poke Zane .

I feel electricity go through me  and see a bit of smoke . Ohh .

He wakes up with a jolt .

I immediately hug him .

" Mate ".

Ruby or Lily , I don't know which one, says that out loud in one of their voices .

Zane looks at me with different colored eyes . His wolf .

So yeah I wanted to explain a little bit about her history and why she didn't go all crazy and run of to her soul mate immediately. Thank you for reading.
