RECOIL

Beginning

5:00am I wake up in my all white robe, on my double king sized bed, I stare out through my sapphire window with diamond chunks around the edges... feeling rather ill-starred. I imagined a day in which my disconsolate life could be happy once more with a family... I'm isolated here, Father died of liver cancer after taking too much alcohol, whilst my selfish mother snipped 5 billion dollars from my father's bank account leaving me alone in this fortress with my maid Melisa . She took care of me like her child, living with me for 17 years, her husband left her after my father died, Melisa told me my bitch mother wanted to give me to the orphanage home, till she came and chased, at least that's what I was told... I have lived a life full of lies, everyone hates me because of how flush I am, people send death mails , throw stones at my Rolls Royce whenever I drive through the runes of the village, I had to buy a new one every year due to that. I was left secluded because I am diagnosed with a delusional disorder but Melisa said those malicious doctors where lying to me, she told me that I was special and so I believe...My dad  owned a self sufficient business that is worth billions of dollars, all in his name.
My name is Matrix and ... I was known to make enemies without trying...but there's more to everything, more to world, more to how my father really died and what killed him.
I've been in a coma for 9 months but I think I got out, I have no memory of getting out... but I did.

" matrix breakfast is rea..." Melisa stopped whilst calling me for breakfast,I hear a loud scream coming from downstairs, I ran as fast as I could downstairs. I saw one, I saw an infected, I ran to open the the curtains and as light shone through in a collimating formation ...the creature burnt like firewood... Melisa was terrified she ran to her room, I don't know how they got in...
This things were human beings, ones that gave up in life, ones that allowed the virus to take over, wonder if that killed my dad?.
I followed Melisa to her room, " Melisa what are you doing?" I said, " I give up, I can't be with you anymore Matrix... I sorry" she cried,''I'm not understanding you... your leaving?" I screamed. '' I'm sorry Matrix... that's the 17th demon that's been in here, have a good life, we had a good run"said Melisa, I watched her leave, but I knew Melisa would never do that, so i held her arm and raised it up, and I saw it... Melisa was effected too," Melisa how long... how long?" I said...Tears started to build up on my eyes...   
" Matrix I didn't want it to be like this... my time is up, the first demon that attacked did this to me, I knew it takes 6 days to kick in... I didn't  want to hurt you matrix, but before I go I need to tell you you something... your name Matrix is the key to revealing your full potential, the fire of this world can never burn you... you are the different one, you are the special one I thought that I'll be with you, but i was wrong... you were like a son to me" Melisa said... she started to cry and then ran off and slammed the door shut... I felt trapped even more than before, a prisoner that needs to be liberated, I sat on the soft blue rug of  her room  and I felt warm droplets coming down my cheeks, in my mouth and I knew that I'm left alone...once again. I left her room eventually and then walked to the front of the main door, and started to admire the crafting and then laid down on my back on the marble floor.

I stared at that the roof, thinking if things would be better... if I'll still be happy at the end but...but it seemed improbable. I *sighed*, with a thought twirling around my mind, disturbing my soul, the question is how much time till another one would attack me?, Melisa always said that I have a strange gift and I thought what gift?, how am I the special one?,do I have powers?...
I mean before, when Melisa used to be with me she never allowed me to touch fire, she always said that "I'm not afraid of the fire burning you...but I'm afraid of you burning the fire"...this always confused me, I never really understood what that meant, I mean she is half Italian maybe they have some strange beliefs, but that's self contradictory.
*knock,knock* I heard the door ,disturbing my session with myself, I'm not supposed to have visitors I mean I'm practically a loner. I started towards the door slowly, I shouted  'who's there' fear in my heart I had no one to fight for me this time around, no Melisa , I got an iron rod and walk slowly closer to the door, and shouted again 'who's there', I look through the one way mirror in my house and I see, a bunch of them, a lot of the demons; vampires; satan's defendants. My heart felt like withdrawing through my chest, then everywhere went dark.
I was awoken by night time, I have an automated lighting system in my fortress, I looked out and they were still there, just standing lifelessly, as if they were glued to the ground with a strong industrial adhesive, ones found in phones of today.
I stayed and watched them for hours, shivering, even counting them one by one, they were precisely 97 out front, this is not normal. Usually the max that's attacks is about 3. More are still coming? I went to the kitchen quietly avoiding making even the smallest of sounds as I walked towards the kitchen, I saw one of them just standing, they have penetrated my house. Oh fuck the back door was open, shit damn... I'm dead but how do the they know about our backdoor, I observed closer... I saw Melisa, she was the lifeless body in the kitchen, I felt the need to shout her name in delight, but she was turned, she will turn me too if we come in contact...I tried to sneak away... and it talks' stop... matrix don't be afraid of me, I'm not like the others, I'm not fully one of them, but I'm not your maid Melisa... I'm a dalmateral, a funny name... matrix I'll will be the one to help you to achieve
your full potential, but you first must escape" Melisa looks away..."where do I go, how do I escape, I'm defenceless." I screamed
I felt my hand twitch.
I ran towards the kitchen door avoiding Melisa's gaze and ran out as quick as I could, then I stopped to look back, the biggest mistake of my life, she saw me Melisa gave a loud screech, alerting the others, then they chased after me, I ran as fast as I could, then I tripped, I knew I'll get turned, all the anger and sadness from my past, loosing my dad, Melisa and being lonely, everything came together I felt a surge go through my skin as if a current went through me, I heard a soft voice saying "say latent" repeatedly, the voice seems familiar... something I've heard before
I was already mad enough, maybe Melisa lied to me, about being special, I listen the voice repeats ' latent' in a soft soothing sound, the monsters drew near... I knelt on the ground, I have nothing to lose, no one to loose, no Friends, family. I was surrounded by them, the soft surge turned to a Pulse then I hear the voice again.......
I screamed "LATENT" as loud as I could. But still nothing I'm done for, the monsters drew their heads backwards getting ready to turn me, then I remember Melisa words, then I screamed "LATENT...MATRIX ROAR" then everything set alight a blue flame came through my mouth, everything was freezing?, getting colder, I continued to roar, it was surreal, then I shut my mouth, all of them were frozen, lights out.
