Savi, Santiago wouldn't want this. I know you miss him, we all do, but we need to get on with our lives. Call me x mum x
Savi, go out for a walk or something don't stay cooped up all of the time it's not healthy. I love you x mum x
Savannah. Enough is enough. answer you phone. you're all alone in New York. I'm worried about you. Just call me soon, I love you. x mum x
I deleted all the messages and got up to make breakfast. I know she's my mum and all, but I haven't seen her in three months since, my little brother Santiago's funeral. she flew back to England straight away so she doesn't get to tell me how to live my life or how to deal with my grief.
Once I had eaten breakfast and taken a shower, I decided that maybe a walk through Central Park wasn't such a bad idea afterall.
I grabbed my phone, purse and keys and left my apartment. I picked up a coffee from the local coffee shop and went on my way. I put earphones in and tried to block the world out...
