New born King, New Born dawn

Chptr 1

"Today is the day a new era rises, today is the day a new king is born!" The pope shouted to the crowd and they cheered back. "Lex Jazime Flár would you please enter and tell us why we should make you our king." The pope shouts again making the cheering get louder. "It'd be an honor." Lex said a mist appearing, slowly forming a mans body. But this was no ordinary man, he was a vampire. About to be king of vampires, and he sure did look the part. Once the mist cleared you could clearly see the 682 year old male standing at the height of 6'2, his white creamy skin, Pink&Blue hair and eyes. His left eye was pink and had golden hints and his right the iris being in the shape of a heart featuring an 'X' shaped scar over top of his blue with silver eye. He had a body that one could only be described as godly. His face hard and chiseled, eyes that could make you faint from just one glance. His aurora was one that screamed authority, one worthy of king. "Hello people of the land, I, Lex Flár would love to become your king. For the reasons of making our clan a better-safer place, and also for the reasons of my uncle needing to step down. I know we have a rouge problem on our hands but I will do my very best to keep you and your young safe. As for the humans who have recently settled beside us, if you allow me to become your king my first order of business will be to get a piece treaty with them so I can assure you they won't be any harm, and may be able to help us with our rouge problem. I can assure you if you accept me as your king I will try my hardest to live up to the Flár family name!" His voice booming off the church walls, his authority raining down on his subjects. "Any objections?" The pope says making Lex slightly tense, but the room stays silent making the vampire relax- regaining his confidence. "Then I Declare this young vampire as your new king!" The pope yelled making it known to the crowed that they now had a new leader of authority. The pope placed the crown on top of Lex's head sealing the deal. He was now their king whether they liked it or not. A little while later every one filed out of the church into carriages taking them back to the castle for the after party.

Soon after arriving Lex and his brother Alister walked up to the thrones, Lex sat down in his new throne and spoke to the different leaders of smaller clans. All of the sudden Lex smells the most amazing scent, it was like pine and warm vanilla. He closed his eyes, breathing in the heavenly scent. "I'm sorry but you must excuse me." Lex said with a nod walking away from the older vampires. He started his search for what he hoped to be his mate. He weaved and laced his way through the bodies of the other vampires looking for the one that could potentially be his other half. As the scent got stronger Lex was pulled into an butterfly-stomach twisting- nervous break down. 'What If my mate is female or worse a dominant male, I'm king and NO ONE-not even my mate- will over come me'. It was true that Lex was extremely gay. And very open about it. As he continued his search the scent started to distance its self until Lex realized that the person who owned it must have left. 'Curse the elders!' Lex mentally cursed wishing he was quicker on finding his other half in the chaos. He moped his way back up to the thrones plopping down into the cushioned seat. "What happened to you? You look as though uncle Evens scolded you like a wee child again." Lex's Brother said with a chuckle in his voice, "No not quite, I sensed my Mate." Lex said making Alister stop his laughing and shoot Lex a look of awe. "Are you serious?" He said dumbfounded by the new information. "Why would I joke about that Alister?!? It's my soul mate for crying out loud! Sadly they got away before I could meet them." Lex said agitated by his younger sibling, "Look I'm sorry, buuut. You found your mate!!! -well sorta- at least you know they live near by right?" Alister said with a smile. "Yeah I guess..." Lex said still pouting, "Look it it makes you feel any better first thing tomorrow we will send out scouts to go looking for your mate Kay? Just please try and enjoy tonight. For me?" The younger vampire said with a goofy pouty bat face. "Okay fine." Lex said returning with a goofy smile. So for the rest of the night they danced and enjoyed the night. But Lex still couldn't get that smell out of his mind, 'don't worry little mate I will be by you side soon. And when I do I will love you unconditionally, for all my life. Just please wait a little bit longer.'.....
