Lexi's date

Lexi's pov.

After I said goodby to the girls I quickly ran home to get dressed. It was 6:30 so I had to hurry. I quickly picked out my outfit and set it on my bed. I stripped out of my clothes and got in the shower.

the water felt good on my skin. I quickly did what I do in the shower and got dressed. I dried my hair and put my makeup on. my hair is short and curly so I left it like that. it was 7:30 by the time I was done so I decided to start walking to the dingo. the only one that has a car is kaylin and I don't know where she is.

When I got there I looked for him but didn't see him. did he leave me? was he just toying with me? I felt hurt and angry at the same time. then I felt a pair of hands go around my waist.

"Miss me baby?" my heart fluttered when I heard him speak.

"I thought you left me here" he turned me around and looked me straight in the eye.

"I'd never do that, especially to a girl as beautiful as yourself" man does this boy know how to flatter a girl.

"Oh stop kissin' up and let's go." He chuckled and we started walking. we went to the concession stands and got popcorn and cokes. I begged him to let me pay because I hate it when men pay for my stuff. but he insists and I finally let him.

We watched a beach movie. well, not really watched more talking and finding out common interests. I figured out that his name is Sodapop Curtis and he works at the DX with his best friend steve. apparently a lot of girls go there witch bothered me a lil'.

He figured out some stuff about me too. Like my name is lexi and how I love football, and hate socs. we actually have a lot in common. I really liked soda but I was a lil' nervous going on a date with a man I just met.

Soon the movie was over and soda walked me home. we talked about the movie and about the people we saw there.

Soon we got to my house. I really didn't want it to end. "I had a great time" I chuckled. "yeah I did too." he gave me his famous smile that I grew fond of. he started to lean in and I started freaking out. I quickly moved and kissed him on the cheek. he looked surprised but happy.

"Goodnight lexi" he grabbed my face and kissed my forehead. "We should do this again sometime, say dinner at the diner tomorrow at 6?"

I gave him a smile "i'd love that" he gave me a half smile. "see you then my flower" he walked away and I watched him until he was out of my sight.

I sighed and went inside. everyone was asleep so I was sure not to wake them up.

I quickly got dressed for bed and slid under my covers. I fell asleep thinking about soda.

Shays pov

I was pacing around my room. should I call him I don't want to seem too desperate. it's been 3 hours. UHG what should I do!? about an hour of debating with myself I finally decided to call him.

"Hello this is the Curtis house Darry speaking" a man said on the other line.

"Hi is ponyboy there?"

"Yeah hang on a second."

"Hello"

"Hi ponyboy it's shay from the diner."

"Hey! what's up?"

"Ha ha, not much just sittin' on my bed talkin' to you" like I said I don't talk to boys too often so don't judge.

"Ha ha, we'll are you free tomorrow?" my heart started beating fast.

"Yeah"

"Oh cool, do you wanna hang in the lot at noon?"me? he wants to spend his day with me?

"I'd love to."

"Great see you then, by shay"

"By" I fell on my bed and stared at the ceiling. oh I can't wait for tomorrow.

Kaylin's pov

I was with Johnny all night. we. Walked around town he is a really sweet guy. We got to the lot and it was sundown. we watched the sun set in the east.

It was beutiful. he then looked at me and I turned to face him.

"Kaylin, I had a great time with you today." I smiled at him.

"Me too" I sighed "I wish the day didn't have to end."

"We can do this again tomorrow, I-if you want" really? he wants to meet up again? oh boy I think I'm in love. I just hope it doesn't end up like last time.

"I'd like that"

""Ok let's meet here at eleven. ok?"

"Ok" I said

"It's getting dark I better walk you home."

"Ok" we both got up and to my surprise he took my hand. So we walked hand in hand. soon we got to my porch and he turned to face each other.

"I'll see you tomorrow kaylin" I smiled at him.

"Can't wait" he started to lean in and so did I. soon out lips touched and I felt butterflies and sparks. soon we pulled away because we both needed air. he smiled and said goodby then left.

I'm surprised he didn't run away when he found out I was a Shepard. usually guys are afraid of me because of my brothers. don't get me wrong I love then to death but sometimes it gets on my nerves.

I slowly went inside hoping Tim was asleep. to my luck he wasnt. Tim was in my room with his arms crossed.

"Where have you been!?" he yelled

"I was out with some friends."

"Then why did I just see you with a boy on the porch?" he seen that? oh great.

"We met at the diner he's a real nice guy, not like Blake." I said his name with hatred. tim sighed.

"I just don't want you to get hurt."

"I know" I walked over to him and gave him a hug. he hugged me back and we stayed like that for 3 minutes. then we pulled away and Tim said goodnight and left.

I was exhausted so when I hit my pillow I fell right asleep.
