chapter 1: the start

Cherry's pov

I'd done it. I'd sent a text asking the adorable marshmallow who is Blueberry to meet me at the park at 6:00. I know had to wait for a reply. 

-time skip due to the author being lazy as s*ugar*. really ya gonna censor me now?(Yup!)-

It was 5: 15 and Blue still hadn't replied yet. I started to get really nervous, what if she didn't like me? what if she hated me? Oh god...I could see her typing. my Soul was in my throat as the message took ten years to go through.

I felt my Soul soar. She'd said yes! I got ready for my 'date' with Blue and head out after telling Boss what I was doing. I took a deep breath as a waited for Berry in the park.

Blue's pov

Oh my god! Cherry asked me on a date!  well, he said to meet at the park but its technically a date, in my eyes...

It took me about half an hour to get ready. I decided to wear a light blue dress  with my bandanna along with my regular boots and gloves. And a touch of make-up so I didn't look completely dead.

I soon left the house after telling Papy that I was going out. As I expected, he didn't even care that I was going out. That lazybones.

I reached the park at two minutes past six and searched for the one everyone called Cherry. I found him easily. He was wearing his usual clothes being the sloth he was. I couldn't help but smile even though I felt a heat of blush flush across my face. Why does Cherry make me feel like this? I walked over, the trees swaying as if to chant for me.

 "Cherry?" The words didn't come from me but from Swapfell. The one person I didn't want here. For reasons that were about to become clear
