I'm at my locker wondering where my first class is in this new hell hole, known as Silver City High. I am directionally challenged and it's a month into the school year and I've changed schools, already.
I am supposed to lay low and just finish this school year. So I don't think having my face shoved in the map they office have me would be laying low. I shut my locker and start walking away. Probably not in the right direction, but fuck it.
The warning bell rings for 2 minutes till. Shit! I really hate being late. Fuck it I'm pulling out the map. I reach around and put my hand in my side bag searching for my map. Eventually, I feel something that feels like the map so I turn my head and look.
OW! I fall to the floor. I ran into a wall. Sort of. I ran into a little sliver of brick coming out of the wall I was walking parallel to. No body was looking. Thank god.
I pick up the little things that had slid out of my bag, get up, and start walking.
Stupid wall. Who designs a wall like that? Like seriously?! People are walking here!
I walk with aching ribs while looking at my map. When suddenly I fall down again. What the fuck? Is it another wall? Then I look up at the possible wall and see a guy. Very muscular and very broad chested
"What the hell? Can't you see I'm walking here?" He says.
"Sorry. I'm new. You don't happen to know where room.." I look at my schedule "642 is, would you?"
"You're new, not stupid." He states.
I walk off in the opposite direction I initially went when I realize I don't have my phone and turn back around to go find it.
When I turn around I hit the something. The asshole and his bulldozing buddies was following me. This time I don't fall but I am thrown off balance.
"Do your brain cells not work or something? Do I need to draw you..." he starts and I trail off cause off how much of an asshole this guy is. "Listen to me.." I hear him say. I can't take this anymore "Shut the fuck up for a second okay?" I say, he looks stunned because I talked back to him "One I don't know who the fuck pissed in your Froot Loops this morning but check your problems at the door. And do I need to draw you a map so when I tell you to go to hell you know how to get there? Cause guess what asshole, you and you bulldozing skyscraper friends aren't the only ones in this entire fucking school. Do I need to take a drill to drive it through your thick skull? Or can you have some common sense since we're in a PUBLIC school. And if you and your skyscraper buddies wouldn't bulldoze down the hall maybe people wouldn't have to dive out of your way. Now excuse me but I have to get to class." I walk away from him letting my hair hit him in the face when I turn around.
As I am walking away I see the faces of everyone who was watching. Those are definitely the faces that are telling me that I just pissed off the one guy in the whole school that's the one guy you're not supposed to piss off.
I turn a corner and remember I still don't know where I'm going. So I stop and pull out my map. As I'm looking at my map I hear determined heavy foot steps coming up behind me. After a second I turn around I am picked up.
Like any other stupid teenage girl in a horror movie that gets picked up I start pound my fists against his back and kicking my legs knowing this will not help at all.
Behind him are two of his three bulldozers. "Can't you talk some sense into him and make him put me down?" I say to them.
"Sorry I don't think bulldozers or skyscrapers are much to talk." One says with a smirk.
I eventually just stop and sit there to be carried to god knows where. When he readjusts me throws me a little in the air and I land on the same shoulder with my ribs infuriated. I hit him on the back one last time so he knows that that hurt me. But what he doesn't know is to what extent.
I feel him, and see from behind, him going up steps. Then going down another hall before he dropped me on the floor with my bag and said "Room 642." He said while pointing at a door next to me and he walked off.
I start to cough and I cover my mouth. When I pull my hand away I see blood. Great. Just what I needed.
