Shawn:

"Shawn. Shawn. Hey earth to Shawn! Who is that girl over there with Andrew?" Aaliyah asked as she kept on pulling on my sleeve, pointing in the direction where Andrew is. I looked over at Andrew and saw him talking to a beautiful, mysterious girl. One I haven't ever seen before.

"I don't know but I think he's a bit too old for her. Don't you think?" I said and Aaliyah laughed, bumping my side. "Why don't you go find out." I said and she nodded standing up from the bench.
She jogged over to Andrew and I saw her starting to talk with the girl, making a new conversta and getting to know her.
Andrew even introduced her too.

She really is pretty, even from a far distance I can see that.

Andrew came over and sat down next to me. "Who's that?" I asked and he smiled. "That is Maya. You're new backstage manager." He said and I felt my heartbeat raising as I smiled big at the thought of her going on tour with us. With me.
Aaliyah will have a friend and I'll get to meet someone new, as beautiful as her. I love brining my sister on tour with me sometimes, it's having a piece of home with me. And because I leave so regularly it's hard to keep a good relationship with her.

But this way, it's a bit easier. And I get to take her along to see new parts of the world. Ones she wouldn't quite, on her own, see.

"Really?" I asked surprised and he raised his eyebrows at me, a small smirk playing on his corners of his lips. "Why so interested?" He asked and started wiggling his eyebrows. "She's just really pretty that's all." I shrugged and looked over at her talking to my sister.

Aaliyah was smiling and laughing, they both seem to have fun. "That's my backstage manager?" I asked, just to confirm it again.
"Yes Shawn. Gosh you act like she's a alien. Don't make it weird for her though, she's a bit shy." Andrew laughed, and I looked in awe back at my sister and the mysterious beauty.

"Flight number 169 ready to board." The intercom went off. "Go on, get your sister and Maya." Andrew said and I stood up grabbing my carry on and walking over to them. I knew exactly why he asked me to go get them, but I'm not complaining.
Not at all.

So Maya is the name.
Wait he already said that, why am I only picking up on it now?

I'm going to sound very cheesy, but I believe some of the words he said, didn't come to my brain because I was astonished by her beauty.
Call it what you wish, but this girl is a work of art.
And her name. Maya.
It's beautiful. It fits her perfectly.
I like it.

"Aaliyah our flight has been called." I said and they both turned around. I saw her blushing when she made eye contact with me. Wow. Even more beautiful from close up.
I thought and then Aaliyah laughed and Maya looked down at the floor blushing even more than she did before.
What?

"No." I said and looked at Aaliyah with big eyes as I clutched my hand over my mouth. "Yes." She said. "Aah shit I'm sorry I was thinking out loud." I said and face palmed. "And already I'm stuck on your mind." She laughed and I blushed.
Funny and pretty.

"I'm Maya by the way, I believe I'm your backstage manager. Nice to meet you." She said extending her hand to me. I took her hand in mine and shook it. Her hands are so soft.

"Shawn." I said and she smiled. Her smile forming the most beautiful dimples in her cheeks.
She's indescribable.
"We should probably get going." Aaliyah said and pulled our hands out of each other's.
I didn't even know we were still holding hands.
"Uh- yes. Let's go." I said and we walked to the line were Andrew and Geoff were waiting for us, feeling the heat rising to my cheeks.

"Quit being such a creep dude!" Geoff laughed at me, bumping my side as I stood next to him in the line. I just rolled my eyes, not even wanting to reply on that statement, because I know all to well I'm being creepy.
Not even denying it.

We got on the plane and walked to our seats. I've never been so nervous for a flight before. Not that I'm scared it's just... I'm sitting next to Maya. My sweaty palms and lobster red cheeks will probably scare her off.
I can only imagine the smirk on Andrew's face when he arranged the seats. Probably knowing I'll freak out about the new girl. Even though she's a coworker. Part of my team.

Aaliyah sits in the row seat in the same isle as us, almost wanting me to sit next to her. I let out a shaky breath and sat down, feeling my heart pounding in my chest as I saw her walking closer in the isle towards us.

Our eyes locking on each other's and my heart just stopped, it literally just stopped for that second, and she smiled. God, that got me... she smiled and I fell down from my dream cloud, back to reality and I realized this wasn't a dream.

Why am I such a freak?
She's just a girl... a very very very beautiful one.
