yesterday (poem)

Yesterday

She told me that I have to know what I want and i told her I know what love feels like

I have been happy before and my heart knows how it feels to be loved right

She warned me not to be too idealistic but reminded me never to settle for less

I smiled inside coz I know that every girl I have been with after her wasn't even a paragraph in my story and now I'm reaching for the best

People don't understand what it is about her that has me soo hooked.. And to be honest. I don't fully understand it either

She is not perfect but she shows me how perfect she is for me... constantly making Me a believer

In that true love stuff. That one person made for you and only you

I have prayed for you coz when I'm with you it always feels like you are the rib that God took

I'm not only in love with your looks, its your heart too.. See with out you I'm not complete...

You do the simple things that are way too complicated for others to do.. Its funny how you can be mean and it still comes out sweet

We have this thing we do... We don't say a word but communicate  clearly

The body language we speak comes out vividly and every time my heart says something I could swear that you hearing me

I looked at you and saw the love of my life. The love my heart knows is true

But it sucks that I can't be with you....and that I don't know how to get you... Because I'm really honestly just in love with you

But...I...I .... I don't know what to say.

Just please... Can we go back to yesterday
