iam falling from a very high place . iam not frightened though . suddenly 2 wings appear on my back and i start flying . when i finally land i see no life as if this place never existed , as if iam the only one here .
i flutter my eyes open , i try to adjust my eyes to the strong light . it seems i overslept again .
" that dream again ? " i ring a bell . a maid enters " good morning , my lady . "
i yawn " good morning Rose , what time is it ? "
" it is 11 o'clock , you also have a call from her highness . "
" mum ?! "
i rushed downstairs to my laptop , i open skype , then press her name . it has been eternity since i heard her voice or saw her .
" good morning cordelia . " said mum with a big smile on her face .
" good morning mum ! how is everything ? "
she sighed " you know the usual stuff ... i don't understand how your father did all of this work on his own . "
" i miss him . "
" oh honey ! i miss him too ! look ! iam going to take a break from the company and from everything to visit you . i will arrive in 3 days time . "
" mum! don't be impulsive . "
" cordelia , iam no good as a mother . when was the last time i touched my daughter ? or saw her for real ? "
" mum , iam not angry or anything . i understand what we are going through . " i sighed .
" cordelia i have already decided it . "
" ok iam waiting for you then . " i smiled .
" one last thing cordelia , are you still visiting doctor sarah ? "
she started talking seriously all of a sudden .
" yes mum . i was actually going to pay her a visit today ... mum i don't understand why do i have to visit her daily ? "
" cordelia we will talk about it when i return . now go ! you don't want to be late . "
i closed my laptop then sighed .
" my lady , would you like to have breakfast or a shower first ? " asked Rose .
" a shower . "
" it is ready . "
i made the water warm . i hated arguing with mum and i know in the end she won't listen . she is always concerned about my health , she is being overprotective .
when i finished , Rose helped me get dressed then i ate my breakfast .
" the car is ready , my lady . " she said .
" thanks ."
i got inside of the car " take me to doctor sarah . "
it wasn't along drive , just 15 minutes . i had always insisted that i should walk instead of having someone drive me but mum had always been frightened to death from something like this .
the car stopped in front of the clinic .
" shall i pick you up at the usual time ? "
" yeah . thanks kevin . "
the car left . i knocked on the clinic's door .
" come in . "

" cordelia ! how are you ? "
" won't be so much different than yesterday . " i rolled my eyes .
