CHAPTER 7 

Charlie POV

Me, lily and Scar lounged lazily at Harry and Louis’ house. Lily sat on the floor intently watching Dora doing some exploring. It was a cloudy day and I was sure it would rain, I loved the rain but I wasn’t feeling all to well. My head lay on Harry’s lay as he played with my hair. I shut my eyes and listened to the birds singing and the tree’s rustling, I wish I could just pause this moment forever. Niall, Zayn and Liam walked in. Liam and Zayn greeted us warmly but Niall hesitated in hugging me and in the end just gave a weak smile. We were slowly becoming closer to the boys. They were all so funny and laid back, to be honest they didn’t even seem like celebrities. Louis’ phone rang and he ran into the next room when he found out it was Eleanor. They were too cute together! I was sure I was dozing off when liam came and sat on my legs that were spread out across the lounge.

“Mooove over Charles!” He cried.

I moaned, lifted my feet out from under him and left them in his lap. My right eyes slowly peeled open when I heard Scars familiar giggles. She was sitting on the lounge opposite to us with Zayn. They held hands and their eyes were locked. I wish they would go on that date already!

I was sure I slept for a little bit when I heard the front door close and it turned out liam and zayn had left to go into town to get supplies. It left Harry, Scar, Me and Niall alone.Harry suggested Me, Lily, Scar and him order Chinese and take it to the field I’d shown him. At that moment I felt a bit guilty and annoyed. That field was my place a place where it was a haven for me and my thoughts, and then it was a place for me and Niall.Oh Niall...I had only seen him three times since me and Harry got together and he had started going out with that Madison girl. No one knew about that spot apart from me and Niall, not even Scar or lily and now here is harry, another important person I wanted to share this place with but…he has now gonna and told not only scar but lily! I know I shouldn’t be so protective over it, it’s a part of land, which lies between out two properties, no one really owned it but I felt betrayed somehow. Maybe that’s how Niall will felt when he found out I showed harry? Niall looked around uncomfortably after realizing he was not included in the plans and insisted he go for a walk to clear his head.

“No, Niall come with us!” I said optimistically.

“No thanks”, He replied solemnly,” I’d prefer to be alone.”

With that Niall walked off. Feeling all of these feelings of annoyance, anger, sadness I took Harry to the side and explained it to him.

“I’m so sorry babe! I didn’t know it was so important to you! I will just say I meant the small field near the creek.” I thanked him and have him a small peck not feeling overly lovey at the moment.

After all that was sorted we put our food into a basket and the four of us headed down towards the creek laughing, talking and singing. That all stopped as soon as we had walked down there to find a limp looking Niall by the creek gazing at the water blankly. We all froze but I shook myself from my frozen state and walked quickly up to Niall. I placed my hands onto his familiar shoulders, which made him quickly lift his head up. His eyes were full of pain. I turned to Harry who had stopped the others from coming any further ,which I was grateful for, and gestured for them to give us a minute. With that they disappeared back to the house.
