Probably about to start writing this in 3rd person. I just want to try it out because it allows me to throw more details in.
If you need to refresh your memory you might wanna go back a couple chapters.

I just wanna hold you up, I just wanna figure you out, I just wanna make you mine, I'm drowning right now, can you save my life? - Jacquees & Dej Loaf x Hold You Up

Mal in MM.

----

"Yes mam, both of them are good." August said as he held his phone to his ear, a package in his hand, twisted the front door knob.

"Mhm, tell everybody I love them. I have to come visit sometime soon." Mama Sheila said. "Bye baby."

"I will, bye mama." August hung up the phone and sat the package on living room floor. "I'm home." He yelled throughout the house so everyone could hear.

Jace came running down the stairs with Peaco right behind him. Jace wore a blue striped pajama set Chris and Cierra had got him for Christmas. Peaco had on one of those doggie t-shirts with a pair of sunshades on it.

"Yo mama always dressing this dog up in these ugly ass dresses." August mumbled.

Jave just laughed and sat on the living room chair. "What's in the box?" August shrugged and slid it in front of him, attempting to open the box. "Where's mama?"

"Upstairs. She just put Brelle to sleep." Jace said. August just nodded his head as he finally got the box to open. A smile immediately came across his face seeing nothing but fan mail.

He grabbed the box, stood up, and made his way upstairs to the bedroom him and Malorie shared. Jhene Aiko's "Lyin King', played throughout the room as he walked in. Malorie laid across bed in just her silk robe making a smile come across August's face.

"Hey baby." August said before sitting the box and walking towards her. Malorie let out a small laugh and took a sip of the wine that was in her glass.

"Hey August." She slurred. It was apparent that she was tipsy.

"You been drinking baby?" August lightly laughed before reached for her glass.

Malorie looked up at him and rolled her eyes before taking another sip of the wine she was drinking. She reached over and grabbed the letter from Kayla off of the nightstand.

August took it from her and began reading it, making his face scrunch up. He couldn't even make sense of everything.

"The fuck? She brung this to you?" He asked. He was already turning red, the anger that took over his body made his nose flare up.

"Nope. Just left it on the door step." Malorie said with a shrug. After so many years, she was sure that the whole Kayla situation was over and so did August, but the past always seemed to haunt them.

"This is not my child Mal. I can promise you that." He sat beside her on the bed trying to get her to look at him. Malorie just looked down and played with her fingers, trying hard not to let any tears fall.

"You did this August, fix it." She said before laying down again.

August felt like there was always trouble following him, no matter how hard he tried to get his self together. He took another look at the note and turned it over to the back, seeing a number.

He took out his phone and dialed the number, putting it on speaker and letting it ring before somebody answered. Kayla.
