we all had fun at the bowling alley, Alissa made a strike which is still unbelievable. Now we're just dropping her home, and it was also almost prom !
im honestly so excited but sad bc Alissa isn't going with someone. I'd love to go with her but she just sees us as friends which is fine with me 🙂
i was day dreaming about what would've happened if Amanda and I dated.. I have no idea why though
" Earth to Jake ! " - Alissa snapped at me
" sorry I have some things on my mind " - I say as I turn my head to face her
" did you hear anything I said ! " - she asked disappointed
" no , but please I'm listening now " - i tell her as she looks out the window
" maybe another time.. " - Alissa says with a sigh
ughh i feel so stupid right now, why am i always thinking about Amanda. Alissa could've told me something important ! ( this is in his head btw ) am I falling for Amanda ?? I've been texting her a lot and we sometimes hang out with each other at my house, she may be one of those popular ones but she's different. But a good different
" bye guys " - Alissa said getting out of the car
" by- " - i got cut off by Alissa slamming the door
" she's so pissed " - Anthony said
" yea , i think i noticed that Anthony " - i sassed a bit
" why though ? " - Chance questioned
" i wasn't listening to her and I think it was something important.. " - I answered
" did you guys by any chance hear what she said ? " - I asked
they were silent for awhile until I broke the silence
" hello ? " - i said
" i think it's best if she tells you instead of you finding out from us " - Chance said with a gulp

" okay.. " - i replied disappointed bc they'd always tell me everything

ughh how am i supposed to tell Jake if he doesn't even listen to me !?! this is honestly so frustrating because this is kinda important to me and he's my best friend he's supposed to listen to me if it's important.. right ?
anyways i went to my sisters room and see what she was doing.
" hey claire do you what moms cooking for dinner ? " - i asked walking in on my phone
" i don't know " - claire replied
" heyy lissa " - a familiar voice said
I quickly loose contact with my phone and look at the person
" omg hey , i haven't seen you in forever ! " I said hugging my cousin. Her name is Angela, she's about the same age as Claire and they both get a long really well almost like their sisters 😂
* skip dinner *
I went back to my room and checked on my phone. I left it up there to charge. I got 5 miss calls, 3-5 voicemails , and 30 messages from Jake. I just ignored him and took a shower.
I wore black spandex, my sports bra, and a hoodie of mine. After that I went went downstairs seeing the last person I'd want to see.
Jake.
" uhm what is he doing here ? " - I questioned
" well you weren't answering your phone so i thought I'd come here " - Jake replied
I just slightly smiled.
" surprise.. " - Jake said doing a little jazz hands
" well I'll leave you two to it, girls come on " - my mom said leaving the door
" where are you guys going ?! " - I asked
" i have no idea, but somewhere " - Claire said shutting the door
UGHH are they seriously gonna leave me with him ?! I just walked to the couch trying to ignore the fact he's here.
" Alissa please tell me what's so important ? " - Jake
" and why would you like to know ? " - I asked
" because im one of your best friends " - Jake replied
" Jake if you were a ' best friend ' you'd listen to everything I say " - I said, at that time I was on my period soooo i got kinda mad..
" well you don't listen to me all the time ! " - he slightly yelled
" when was the last time I haven't listened to you say something important !? " - i slightly yelled too
he was silent for about a minute or two
" exactly ! " - I yelled getting up
" Alissa why can't you forgive and forget ?! " - he asked
" IVE BEEN DOING THAT, EVER SINCE DAY ONE JAKE ! " - i yelled and when i said that it reminded me of all the times he wouldn't listen to me. then before I knew it I was crying
Jake then pulled me into i hug. My head against his chest heaving the sound of his heart beat. His body was so warm but I realized that he is the reason why I've cried, so I pulled away and ran upstairs.

I didn't want to chase after her so I just left. As I walked out of the door I got pulled to the side..
