Chapter 1-Youre late Ms.Brownson

LISAS POV

I woke up to my mum screaming my name. I looked up to see her in the door way and then I glanced over at the clock.

7:06 AM The clock read and i grunted and pulled myself out of bed. I drug my feet along the floor to the bathroom, to have a shower. If you haven't guessed already I'm NOT a morning person.

I got out the shower at 7:23. And walked to my dresser with my towel rapped around my body. I picked out a blue t-shirt and denim shorts, with my converses. Then i applied a bit of make-up and soon was hopping down the steps with my bookbag in hand. I grabbed an apple off the table and walked out the door.

I don't actually have a car, so i just walk to school and home. Sometimes i get a lift from my best friend Sky. But unfortunately she wasn't available today.

When i got to school i looked around the halls for a bit searching for Ivy, Justice, and Justin. Sky was sick so i didn't expect to see her. After a few minutes of looking i just gave up and walked to class. But i was late.

As i walked into class "Youre late, Ms.Brownson." Mr.Jones spoke loudly. It sort of irritated me beverages i knew i was late. I didn't need the announcement.

"I noticed, thanks." i smiled sarcastically amd all i heard were snickering going throughout the classroom. Mr.Jones expression hardened and i knew i was about to be punished.

"Detention" he yelled. I flinched at the intensity of his voice but snapped out very quickly. I nodded and headed to my seat next to Justin.

The class seemed to drag on but eventually it was over.

"Really, Li?" Justin laughed as we left the room.

"I really didn't mean to get smart!" i sighed and he shook his head. "You know you bruised Mr.Jones ego." he joked and i laughed lightly.

"He'll live."

We arrived to my next class and Justin waved me goodbye before scurrying off to his. As i entered i saw Ivy sitting at the very back table and i smiled at her before joining her there.

"You study? You know we have a test, right?" She questioned and my eyes widened.

"We have a what now? Since when!?" i exclaimed. m

"Since Friday. She reminded us all to study in an email." She rolled her eyes and i facepalmed. "Uh but you probably didn't even need to study! You'll do great." She forced amd smiled and i gulped as my teacher entered the room and began to pass out tests.

"That was horrible!" i shouted as Ivy and i walked towards the lunch room.

"It wasn't that bad , Li. You probably did fine."

"I know for a fact that i did terribly. I suck at science! I dont evem know the difference between a prokaryotic and eukaryotic cell! Let alone what the hell each one does!" i grumbled.

"Well maybe you should have studied." she shrugged and i just wanted to push her over.

As we entered the lumch room, we went straight to the line and grabbed our nasty school lunch before going to sit at the table.

"Hey, Jus." I greeted and he smiled.

"You guys hear Lisa got detention...again." Justin laughed and i rolled my eyes.

"Again, Lisa? What did you do now." Justice laughed.

"Its not funny guys! I accidentally got smart with Mr.Jones." i sighed and Ivy shook her head.

"I dont know why you continue to test that man. He doesn't like you." Ivy laughed and i giggled a bit.

I took a bite of the make-shift chicken sandwich i had on my tray, "I dont get why though." i shrugged.

"Really? You dont know why? Maybe because you're rudely late to his class everyday?" Justin spoke and i rolled my eyes.

"Well he's first period. He should expect it." i shrugged and he shook his head incredulously.

"Well then you should expect detention." he concluded and we all jad a small laugh.

I loved this. I loved hanging with my friends.

The chapters do get longer! Just give a little time.
