One day in Portland, Oregon, time had froze. Ellie, her brother Sam, and their dog Pippa were the only ones left.

As they looked upon the frozen people in the street, Sam said, "What's going on?"

"I don't know big brother," replied Ellie.

Ellie hard rustling coming from behind her, she swung herself around only to see a creepy, red-headed doll clutching a razor blade laughing.

The doll stopped laughing then smiled eerily, "I'm not alone, " pointing at a bloody, face painted clown a few yards away in another bush.

The creatures began to laugh hysterically. Ellie screamed in terror as she looked upon their dead eyes gazing with evil.

The three ran down the sidewalk past a lonely football field. The air was crisp, and frosty.

The wind pierced their pale, numb faces.

Sam thought it was strange that only the wind was blowing.

The clouds moved at a slow pace with their light grey shade as the roaring thunder followed.

"We better find someplace to hide," suggested Sam as he forced the zipper to go up on his jacket. Pippa' s cute little legs followed the siblings as his keys on his collar chimed.

"They're going to find us if we don't get that collar off," said Sam. Ellie gently clutched the collar and removed it.

Sam stuffed the collar into his pocket.

They helplessly wandered the streets, as they were trotting, Ellie walked with her head bowed thinking about where her parents may be.

Sam couldn't think straight, all he could think about was protecting his little sister from danger.

Ellie glided her hand against the cold concrete wall of a building. She laughed at how funny she looked in one of the glass panes of a shop.
