BOOM! The taxi shook. We rushed out to see what was happening. 'Quick!' Amanda ordered, 'Get out, now!' We rushed out of the yellow car. I was the first to get my sword. CRASH!! A car flew past as I stepped aside. I took Lucas, Amanda and Connor with me.
A hellhound appeared from behind the Empire State Building, Now, It wasn't your normal everyday hellhound, IT WAS HUGE! Out behind it came a bull, Like the one outside Chiron's window!
'Lucas,' I said. 'Go from the left. I'll be on the right.' I turned at Amanda and Connor. 'Distract them, We'll go in then.' They nodded and went off. 'Ok, lets go.' Lucas got on his winged shoes and flew off. I got on my winged shoes too.
'Hey!' Amanda shouted. She had her crossbow with a shield ready. She moved her head getting Connor's attention. He was shivering in fear hugging his backpack. 'O-Oh,' Connor started. 'H-Hi.. U-Uhh.. Y-You want to d-dance..?' Amanda started to get angry. 'Ok..' Connor continued. Now I could tell the monsters were confused. 'Then let's dance..!' Connor got his courage up and started dancing. I thought this was the perfect time to attack, but Lucas didn't. I walked on a bit, Lucas stopped me. 'Not yet, Cara,' Lucas started. 'They know what they are doing.'
The hellhound pounced at Connor, I ran to take the hit but it turns out, that's what Connor "Intended" to do.. Connor jumped out of his way, While I just drew my sword, the monster growled.. 'Stay back..' I said to the others. 'Me and Lucas have this covered.' Lucas clicked his necklace as a sword formed in his hand. 'Ok.' Lucas and I jumped on to the hellhound. It stood on two feet as we got our knives and slit its throat, then cut open the belly, then me and Lucas fell, except he landed on two feet, I landed on one.. Lucas asked, 'You ok, Cara?' I looked at him. 'Of course I am.' I said with a smile.
