Chapter 3 (Enough is Enough )

Enough Addison! you've got to get up and move on, life continuos and Alex would not want to see you like this. We're the words that made me get up that day and get ready for work.

When I got to my office Matt hadn't arrived yet, I didn't even call him to tell him that I'll be coming to work today. Everything had happened so fast that I didn't really now what was the relationship between him and me. Matt and I kissed, Alex died, my world came down. It all happened at once, and even thought Matt came to visit me I didn't really know.

While I was in the office I felt lost, it still felt like it was all a screwed up dream. I was lost thinking about everything when I felt someone touching my arm, and it frighten me because my presence was here, but my mind was elsewhere.

"Addison your back. How are you feeling?" Inquired Matt. Hey, I'm feeling better, I lied, because I wanted to feel good but my mind, heart, nothing absolutely nothing was helping me feel good. It was as if all were bent on making me suffer.

"Hmmm...you don't really look good"demanded Matt raising his eyebrow. Do you want to talk? Im here for you, what ever you need I'm will always be here."

"Stop lying Matt !" I protested. You can't always be here that's a lie , Alex used to tell me the same thing and do you see him here ? No righ, because he's dead, he's a dead body, buried I can't see him anymore..."Addison! Addison STOP!"

Matt was screaming to me, grabbing me with both arms. "Sorry Matt I'm so sorry I thought I was ready for this but I'm afraid not.""Don't worry" I'm gonna find a way to help you,Matt said while looking directly into my eyes and putting away the hair from my face. I couldn't resist I wanted to feel the warmth of his lips that tested as if he used Chapstick , and I kissed him this time, and for those ten seconds I felt alive for once.

"I've got an idea lets forget about work and let's go out. Let's pretend we're teenagers, and forget about everything and have fun." And before I could respond to Matts proposition, he was already pulling me through out the door.

We got in the car, Alex grabbed the wheel of the car with one hand while the other one was holding my hand. "Where are we going?" I inquired. Wait you'll see, it's a surprise. Surprisingly traffic weren't that bad. I saw a roller coaster, people selling cotton candy, it was the amusement park. I remember when I was little I used to love going to the amusement park with my dad.

"We are going to ride the highest roller coaster " said Matt. "Oh no way! I'm going in that thing,"I demanded smiling. "Haha, that's what you thing, I don't like no's for an answer" retorted Matt.

We waited in a long line to get some tickets. The time arrived and the moment to get on board was here. I was freaking out, the roller coaster started moving upwards and I grabbed Matts hand as tight as possible. When we were in the highest part, the roller coaster stopped as if it was preparing to go down, Matt said Addison look at me;

"Would you be my girlfriend?" And before I got the chance to answer, the roller coaster descended downward with great precision and we all started screaming with our arms in the air and it was exactly what I needed scream make all that anger come out. When we reach to the end I was so groggy but still I shouted " Yes, I want to be your girlfriend Matt." Everyone kept staring at us and Matt kissed me, I was blushing harshly.

Afterwards we went for a walk, looking around the huge park, and Matt bough me a necklace from a souvenir shop that had a red heart that read: Love is brave. I turned around and putt my hair to the side , his warm hands slightly touched my neck when he was putting the necklace. When he finished putting the necklace he grabbed my hair and put it back, then grabbed my hand, turned me around and kissed me, but this kiss had something different, it felt different it felt even more magical we were boyfriend and girlfriend now.

" Thank you Matt" "I had a wonderful day , thanks for making me happy again."

Baby I'll do anything for you, you are my heart. Matt said. For the first time in about twi weeks I could say I was happy, happy in love with Matt. "I wished this day would have lasted for ever' I said when we reached my apartment." "The memories will last forever"he said hugging me. He got out of the car, opened the door for me, and left me in front of my door. But before he hugged and kissed me once more. Whispering goodnight and I love you in my ear.

I went in my apartment, and I was feeling so tired I went in the shower, and as soon as I was out I fell asleep immediately.
