" x + y = ______" Another math equation has been written on the board and a student is currently day - dreaming in her math class. That student is no other than Rae Ah.
Lee Rae Ah. A freshman student in Phoenix Academy. A girl na sa humigit kulumang na 14 years niyang pagpasok at paglabas ng school, she doesn't like Math. Halos i-untog na niya ang kanyang ulo sa desk just to solve a simple math equation.
Until one day, may isang transferee student na galing sa TRP University na nagpabago ng kanyang buhay. Walang iba kung 'di si Kim Heechul. Isang gwapong transferee student na magaling pagdating sa Math . 'Pag siya'y ngumiti sa iyo, unti-unti kang matutunaw. Ang nag-iisang inspiration ni Rae Ah sa tanan ng buhay niya.
"eq. 1 = x + y = 6 eq.2 x-y = 2. Now, Solve the problem Ms. Lee Rae Ah!" sambit ni Ms. Park , ang kanilang math teacher.Nagulat si Rae Ah sa kanyang narinig dahil siya'y naistorbo sa pagpapantasya kay Heechul habang nakatingin sa pagkalinis-linis na bintana. Feeling niya, unti-unting nagugunaw ang mundo niya habang naglalakad sa isle. All of the students in that class are staring at her dahil once in a blue moon lang siya mag recite.
Nang makarating na siya sa hell board, tinitigan lang niya ang equation dahil 'di niya alam kung pa'no ito i-solve. 10 minutes din siyang nakatayo sa harapan ng klase. "Dear Math, grow up and solve your own problems. Stop bugging me, you will never know Y did your X left you. Love, Me." pabulong na sinabi ni Rae Ah. Buti nalang, binato siya ng crumpled paper ni "Shining star" (ang tawag niya kay Heechul). Kinuha niya ang crumpled paper at doon nakasulat ang answer sa problem. Dali-dali niya itong isinulat sa board at sa wakas, siya'y pina-upo na rin. "Thank you for your help." she whispered to her crush. "No Problem."reply ni Heechul.
Next day after class, "Hey can i talk to you for a sec?" Heechul bravely ask Rae Ah. "Sure", Rae Ah replied. " Ca- can I be your friend?" sabi ni Heechul. "Sure! It'll be great", said Rae Ah. After 3 weeks , "HEY CARROT! HELP ME WITH MY ASSIGNMENT! I NEED LATER!!" ani ni Heechul sa hallway. "OK! What is it all about?" "About......." They're super close na. CARROT pa ang tawagan nila.'Di namalayan ni Heechul na ma-fafall siya kay Rae Ah na may crush din sa kanya.
"May i know who's your crush?" Rae Ah asked bravely while they're in the school grounds. "Uhmmm... Well... Why are
you asking me?" "Nothin' just wanna ask." "Don't be mad with me 'k?" "Why will I be mad? Am I your crush?" Heechul
didn't reply. Silence surrounded the whole place for 2-3 minutes."You know what? We're the same." Rae Ah broke
the silence between them. "I like you too." They started to blush and both looked to each other. "Is it ok? to court you?"
"Sure."
Heechul courted Rae Ah for two consecutive weeks. He gave her a dozen of roses, a box of chocolate, a love letter
saying "You stole my heart and now i'm goin' to steal yours now. Can i call you "UI"? because U and I sounds great....." He even sang Rae Ah's favorite song, No Other by Super Junior. He sang it in front of many people. "Neo gatteun saram tto eopseo~ Lee Rae Ah, can you be my yoja chingu?" Halos half of the audience made the kilig sound. They're even chanting "Answer him now!" Rae Ah decided na sagutin na si Heechul. "Yes. From now on, you will be my boyfriend." The crowd shouted the kilig sound again.
9 months later, "Jagiya! Help me with this. I can't understand it." Rae Ah irritatedly shouted "Babo! You forgot to
do this."reply ni Heechul. "Let's eat first." gutom na sabi ni Rae Ah "Ok then. I'll just reserve a table for us." sabi ni Heechul.Pagkahaba - haba ng pila sa canteen halos 'di rin ito gumagalaw. Lumipas ang 21 minutes, wala pa rin si Rae Ah sa table nila.
Nainip na si Heechul dahil gutom na rin siya. Iniwan niya ang table na dapat doon sila uupo at hinahanap niya si Rae Ah nang biglang may 'di kanais - nais siyang nakita.
Ang kanyang Ex na si Nari.
6 months silang nagtagal ni Nari dahil iniwan ni Nari si Heechul dahil lang sa isang basagulerong lalaki at nahuli rin ni Heechul si Nari na nakikipaglandian sa isang group of guys sa campus nila. Lumipat si Nari sa Kyung Hee University dahil kay Heechul. Nakita niya si Heechul na 'di magka - ugaga kakahanap kay Rae Ah. She immediately went to Heechul and passionately kissed him as if they're still a couple. "Missed me?" Nari said. "What the heck did you do?! Leave me alone!" Heechul annoyingly replied. "Why are you like that? You left me without saying anything and you're the one who's mad? We're not yet done." "Stop that nonsense! We're through!" "This can't be!" "Leave me alone!" They caught all the attention of the people inside the canteen.
Rae Ah saw the "kissing scene". She thought that Heechul is cheating on her. Anger is within her. The food that she bought suddenly dropped from her hands.
She didn't even noticed that her tears are flowing into her cheeks already. She ran while crying. She decided to go home early. Her mom saw her crying after she got home. "Why are you crying dear?" "Such a timer. I should have known that before." "Just rest for awhile dear. Let your mind and heart rest."
Rae Ah didn't went to school for 5 days. Heechul is calling and texting her but she's just ignoring it. He went to her house but it's always locked and there's no one inside. Heechul is so worried about Rae Ah.
He missed her so much. He can't sleep at night because he's not used to it. Before he sleeps he needs to listen to Rae Ah's voice first.
"Do it right. You’re really a bad boy, only having curiosity rather than love. Because of you, I’ve been fooled the entire time. You’re no fun, you have no manners. You’re a devil, devil you are." She's listening to SNSD's famous song, Run Devil Run. She's regretting all the things that she have done with him. All the sweet moments that they have created. There's only one word that she's planning to do on Heechul. That is revenge. But another idea just poppedout of her mind. She wants break up with him. She thinked wisely as she could. She just chose to break up with him. She called him. "Jagiya! What happened to you? I'm so worried. Are you sick?" Heechul said. "Sorry but I can't take it anymore. We're done." She hang up the phone and started crying again."I think that is the right decision." she said to herself.
Finally, she went to school. Si Heechul ay nagmumukmok lang sa isang tabi. Nagpapaka Emo dahil kay Rae Ah. "I dont need anyone else, its only you to me. Even if you ask again, its only you to me.Even if you have another love already. I can’t forget you, i can’t turn back. Right when my glare was sharp. Right when i was nailing a nail deep inside my heart I chose you without any regrets. Yes , it’s you." Sinasabayan niya ang kanta ng Super Junior na It's You.
Heechul bravely approached Rae Ah. " I'm sorry. It wasn't me. It's because of my crazy ex. Do what you want to do to me. It's ok." "I forgive you but i have to let you go." "If it's your decision, Fine."
"Can I ask for a favor for the last time?" Heechul asked. "Sure. what is it?" "Can I hug you?" "Go." Heechul hugged him tight and Rae Ah stood still.
3 years later, "Mom! Where's the food?" sabi ni Min, ang anak ni Heechul. "Mom is not here. She's still in the market. Please be patient." reply ni Heechul. His wife went home already. Heechul prepared a surprise for his wife. "Surprise! Happy Anniversary Jagiya! I love you!" Sinigaw ni Heechul. "Oh my! Happy Anniversary too honey! I Love you too!" she said. Heechul gave a present.
"What's this? a letter?" Heechul's wife said."Happy Anniversary Honey! First of all, i wanna say sorry to the things i did to make you regret all the things happened few years ago. And thank you for opening your heart again, for accepting me once again,for being a caring person to me and most of all, for giving me endless love and accepting me as your husband. I love you! P.S. : can you please solve this equation? eq.1 x + y = 6 , eq.2 x-y =2" "Stupid Math." "Why is it stupid? If there's no Math, We’re not going to meet each other! Don't blame Math." " i know i know. Saranghae! " " I love you too."
Nang dahil sa equation na iyon, nagkatuluyan si Lee Rae Ah at si Kim Heechul.
